Journo comes across very bitter........of course it has nothing to do with his father being let go.......he wouldn't let that get in the way of acting professionally

Seems odd to try and use the social media teams activities as a stick to beat the club with just as they win an award for it.

It was a very effective thing at the end of last season, and really brought people together leading up to the Play-offs.

Downes bitterness towards the club is probably understandable from a personal perspective, but his credibility weakens with every tirade he makes against the club.

Can't see anything wrong in what he wrote. Everyone seems focussed on what they need to do. The senior pros are stepping up. Think he means less talk & more action, unless I'm missing something?

                He's such a pr!ck it's unreal.

                Wanted Austin dropped last week

Keep sucking them lemons you bitter clown.

Maybe if your old man wasn't stuck in trap 3 at the training ground half the day he'd still be getting mugged off by Barton in his sessions. Wanchor.

To be honest I've stopped reading his drivel, all his does is slaughter Rangers. Very little facts & largely his opinion. If daddy wasn't lodged I'm pretty sure he'd have s different view of things! He's a weasel

He may well be a weasel the article painted a positive picture of where the club has moved forward in terms of what it is communicating. Less defensive.

After the hammering he got last time round I'm not surprised he's reached for his crash hat.

Nearly set on him one night in the Acton Vale club when piping up all night. Like his old fella, gobby.

That wasn't a wholly positive article IMO, very thinly veiled, and pointed criticism of the way the club has been run and presented itself to the public.

Criticising the clubs social media stuff at the end of last season is extremely weaselly given how well it was received at the time, and helped to drag us over the line at a time when it was far from a foregone conclusion in many fans minds.

It brought the club and fans together, and it's churlish to criticize the club for trying to maintain that during the summer and into a new season.

Haven't read any of his previous articles so can't comment. Just going on what I read in the link which imo seems pretty much ok.
