Although I normally live in town, I am currently living over an hour away until 2010 but I came to both games and every home match. It took me over an hour to park on Wednesday, joy of joys.

To claim that out of towners are less vocal in their support is a bit silly, mate, I'd keep that kind of thing to yourself as it is completely unfounded.

The rreason why gates are less is because we had, until recently, been boring as hell to watch at home, and the prices are too high. Simple supply and demand.

I live on the Isle of Wight and I'm currently unemployed. I've been to HQ to see Blackpool and Forrest and been away to Cardiff and that sh*t hole in SW London, also going to Newcastle. This month is away only for me, but how I regret not going yesterday. If finances would allow I would be at every game.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

I dont know why everyone is justifying why they cant make this game or that game.

Most people would love to attend all the games, but life isnt like that for most. People shouldnt have to justify being unemployed, having kids, having to work etc etc etc.

And as for the comment about local people being more passionate, totally ridiculous and unjustified. Sort of comment expected from a 13 year old.

        Ridiculous thread.

I'm not having this 'people are skint line', if we are flying high and pushing for promotion I'm sure those who are skint now will suddenely find the money to go.

Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Just in case anyone hasn't realised, the original poster is playing the "You're only real Rangers if you live round the corner from the ground" card, and nur nur nur to anyone who dares to live elsewhere.
But I better watch out cos local boys are probably rough and tough and I'm scared

Nothing to do with my point I'm refering to our ability to fill LR has nothing to do with peoples financial situation for if we were flying high pushing for promotion we'd fill the ground.

So when all the glory hunters come crawling out the wood work which I predict will be around xmas my point will be validated.

Oh and to answer your point the last time I was skint in the true sense was when I was 19 so does that count??? - I'm now 30.

                                Doesn't matter where you live.
We'll happily sing, shout, cheer etc. even if those around us aren't.
We'll also happily spend all our disposable income following the team home and away.
Don't have to live in W12 to be a "real fan".
                                What nonsense.
In that case I must have spent the past 41 years not being a "real fan".
As have many people I know.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
