  • Qpr are a shambles

The Sunday Supplement panel have described Queens Park Rangers as a club "in a mess" following more embarrassing arguments played out in the media this week.

The west London club have made up plenty of headlines on the back pages of this week's papers after manager Harry Redknapp and outcast midfielder Adel Taraabt had a public spat over his fitness. Redknapp declared the Moroccan was "three stone overweight" after last week's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool.

You cant argue with them because, as painful as it is to hear, everything they say is true.

I really hope all our board watch this clip and for once finally sit and take notice: http://www1.skysports.com/watch/vide...nd-taarabt-row

For starters the first thing Fernandes should do is STFU about our club on Twitter. He agreed to do that a few months ago but missed the spotlight too much so started up again.

Agree with them all apart from the muggy fella saying we've got a worse bunch than 2 years ago. That's absolute tosh.

The rest can't be argued with.

Can see a lot of people having a field day with this thread, this is right up the street for a lot on here.

What its worth in my opinion is its just a load of media hyped b0ll0cks with 'opinions' from people who have absolutely zero knowledge of whats really happening to this club and whats happening behind closed doors. These are just people who get paid to talk, nothing else!

Youre right Nick, but thats not really the point.

Its not about whats REALLY going on. Its the perception all this totally unprofessional circus-like carry on creates. Perception then becomes reality, as is the way of the world.

Fernandes is giving these hacks ammunition by all his indiscriminate twitterings, which he later regrets posting and deletes them, which is of course no consequence because he's already published them and theyre out there being globally reported within minutes.

I've lost count of the amount of tweets he's later regretted posting then deleted. It's a powerful communication tool and he uses it irresponsibly, which for the owner of a high-profile football club is a damaging recipe.

All the above is true, he will also tweet what he think fans want such as after the west ham game when he said it wasn't good enough only to speak to Redknapp and be completly taken in again and start tweeting about arm chair fans.

His personal craving for publicity combined with him believing the hype around Redknapp is seeing him loose more fans by the day and unfortunately everytime he opens his mouth on Twitter he makes it worse.

                          Disaster in the making

I know theres a lot of people out there who get embarrassed by the club sometimes and thats mainly down to TF tweeting rubbish all the time also with HR and AT recent flirting hasn't helped and its just given other people/other fans more reasons to look down on us and maybe even knock us. But in all honesty hand on heart it really dosent bother me, the perception of the club. I couldnt care less how it comes a cross to others, what the outside world think of QPR and Im certainly no embarrassed by it. But thats just me.

There are always problems at football clubs (not only ours). Look at the problems we have had in the past with the director supposedly getting beaten up, tales of corruption, the transfer of Ali, owners dying from a heart attack in the arms of their lover etc. etc. The present problems are really all minor. The argument between Harry and Adel is really not that big a problem in the large scale of things. Football managers and players have spats all the time (and a spat is all I think it really was).
