Dunne played well short of own goal as did Caulker.

Only disappointment was Phillips -- he refuses to use his one God-given gift: speed.
My issue with phillips is a lack of passion to chase the ball. He is strong and fast, go after it. scare the crap out of the opposition. Also his reactions are god awful

I watch quite a lot of Brazilian and South American football and he does have his quiet games, but he was often deadly for Gremio and would make the difference. I think if he can get settled, have a run of games then he will prove to be a good signing for us. He offers something different compared to Austin and Zamora. We need the pace upfront

Vargas was brilliant today. Will start with him either with Zamora or Austin.

He looked the real deal today, lets hope he can keep it up.

Like everyone else i like charlie and know he got us up but yet again his not being quite clinical enough in front of goal showed the difference between a champ and a prem striker.

Everytime. Playing off Bob. Charlie isn't a premiership striker. Sad, but true.

Zamora and Vargas have to start

Austin is not good enough at this level should have had at least one goal today, Austin should only come on as sub for last 10 to 15 minutes, when Zamora is spent.

Mario Balotelli missed a sitter, should he not play for Liverpool.

Austin has 2 goals to his name in a poor QPR side and will score more.

As above, His movement is poor at best and couldn't hold up my Nan, Bobby for me all day long, if only he had 90 mins for every game, Vargas looks the part tho fingers crossed, good game today enjoyed myself, sure the happy go lucky firm are ready to string there selfs up still lol

Has missed a hat full and is poor off the ball!

Said this when we signed him, reminds me of Aguero and not only cos hes small and South American. Pace, movement and floats into the box unnoticed, decent finisher too

                            Long ball and Bobby Z

It works. Bobby's so effective holding the ball up I've always stuck up for him in that respect even through that shyte spell for him at the beginning of last season. We were just unlucky today, everything was perfect just couldn't take our chances. Solid defence, midfield packed with powerhouses and two big strikers up front. Austin needs to learn to take his chances better, prem is overwhelming for him imo but he can easily overcome that with confidence. Vargas might have to start some games ahead of him, but either Vargas or Austin coming on off the bench will be great for us. Yun has to start our games now, very solid and confident. Needs more games to adapt certain parts of his game. Onuoha, Caulker and Dunne were very solid.

All in all good performance, need to play like this every single game from now on.

So... would you have Peter Crouch back now?

Why not! If we're gonna grind out results this way from now on then we need a backup for Bobby, Crouchy would be perfect. Maybe even take a punt on Andy Carroll, scores goals as well.
