McCarthy -- solid first start
Zamora -- he's still got it (at least for a half)
Vargas (Harry has to get over the language barrier -- scoring is its own language -- Vargas WANTS to score, every time)
Dunne played well short of own goal as did Caulker.
Only disappointment was Phillips -- he refuses to use his one God-given gift: speed.
Bobby did well. Austin set up the first for Vargas.
Of course, Vargas took his chances very well, but that doesn't mean we should have a knee-jerk reaction and suddenly say he should start each game till the end of the season, You choose your team based on tactics, and in some matches, it might be best for others to start up front instead of him.
Vargas didn't start the second half? And if you're suggesting starting the side that finished the game today then my friend you are insane considering that would mean dropping Bobby Zamora who put in a world class forwards display today.

It would also mean no Ned, and Karl Henry and Matty Phillips starting in midfield, with the likes to Taarabt, Kranjcar, Barton on the bench. That's just crazy.
I was disappointed with harry choice off subs except vargas off course. All fer had to do with that last free kick is whip it in hard . No what did he do he gave it straight back to them i am gutted and still in shock

Nono mate thats what I think the lad is suggesting not what I think.
I know there's plenty of us who love Charlie Austin, me included. But I think Vargas looks much more deadly and offers us a new dimension. Zamora's performance against Liverpool warrants him a starting place against Villa and I think Harry should play him alongside Vargas, who will give us some much needed pace up front and looks like our most deadly finisher. What are your thoughts?

He probably put the free-kick into the massive hole that Caulker should've been in. We we just plain unlucky today
