Good up till 50 minutes when the same old fitness issues set in, which should have been sorted pre season by the manager. After that we were on the back foot, injuries (potentially due to fitness) caused two subs and the two of the three most overrated players come on in Traore and Phillips and it was always going to end in tears.

All boils down to fitness and organization, how many hamstring injuries have we got now, and as for organisation we are so slow to organise when we loose the ball it's embarrassing. Afraid only the manager and his staff to blame.

Why does it take 7 games, majority when we played absolute dross and talk of getting rid of the manager for us to put in a performance like that? We're 8 games in now and have 4 points! I in a minority of 1 it seems but I'm bloody furious. Why couldn't we have played like this against stoke or west ham? Pressing, workrate.......everyone suddenly got fit in 2 weeks?? What on earth was going on before. We'll be 1/4 of way through season after villa. Every game is so much pressure for us now.

Very proud of the team today. finally harry set out to attack and we proved that we are a match for any team today.

lets hope harry sticks to this tactic and does not resort back to defensive, crab like football in the next match.

also i hope rio and toare never play for us again. apart from the two own goals, dunne and caulkers were very good. toare once again proved how shyte he is by giving away a stupid foul then turning his back on the ball. yes, yun did the same but at least when he noticed it was played quickly he tried to get to his man but toare just farking stood there and watched.

cant blame mccarthy for any of the goals today.

thats harry's cover story mate and you have seem to fallen for it.

the reason why we have been shyte is that harry has been setting up the team to defend. now that his back is against a wall he has nothing left but to go for it which is what we did today.

Carl Serrant, supposedly our first team fitness coach, needs sacking.

Along with a few others 77 trouble is the improved performances will paper over the cracks for a few more weeks and by then it may to be late!

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

I wouldn't say we learnt McCarthy is our number one based on one decent save he made that Balotelli should have scored from from the follow-up. It would take a few more performances before I can judge who the best keeper is.

safer hands than green and better distribution.....just my opinion!

All we want is desire to win facto-yr old enough to have seen us at our lowest moments over the years and imo this team aint near some of our worst. Passion is the key word for me. Do villa and we will all be buzzing.

Catches the ball, kicks better and looked like he wants to command his area decent start in my book

Agreed. Green is a great shot stopper - But McCarthy just seems fresher and more alert.
