In a choice between those 2 then its Pulis for me all day long.

In a choice for long term manager for the club, Pulis would be miles higher on my list than Sherwood but not in the top 3.

I'm hoping it's Pulis but I suspect we will end up with Sherwood.

I canīt stand a manager who seldom speaks about his own team. Simply as that. He is a pundit,IMO.

              It'd have to be Sherwood.
Young? Check. Up and coming? Check. Long term? Check. Aren't these 3 things the 3 main criteria that pretty much everyone has cried out for on this message board?
Pulis is a dinosaur. Just like Redknapp.

Who's your "realistic" top 3 then?

Would rather have Pulis, but the Board will look at the statistics that Sherwood did have a better record in team performance when in charge than anyone else before him inc Harry.
I don't think its a co-incidence either that Sir Les comes back who worked with Sherwood for years!!

We may not want Sherwood, but maybe Sherwood and Ferdinand could be the answer?

Cant remember 1 Fan complaining when we got Harry, and look how that's turned out!!!

Maybe Sherwood got lucky first time round, what are the chances of him doing that again and would call this a risk.

If I had to pick one, I'd go the safe route and have Pulis every time. We're not in a position to take a chance or are we?

Might be worth taking a chance now though MYU.
We all raved about Hughes and his entourage, then got excited about Harry.

Got a feeling Sherwood and Sir Les will take the helm, but Harry will stay on as Director of Football.

Pulis did a wonderful job at Palace, but lets not forget previously he was renowned for haivng a Stoke side that played arguably the worst brand of football the prem had ever seen... FACT. He went into Palace in a can't lose situation. They were everyone's bet to go down so if he had taken them down it wouldnt have been his fault. They got some results and rode that wave to a good finish. I think it's no surprise he left because with little investment, reality was likely to kick in and he'd quite possibly have taken them down this season. Best bet for him was to walk to keep his stock as high as it will ever be having just won manager of the year. Then when a Tony Fernandes or other chairman comes in his agent can demand top dollar.

So no to Pulis from me. Although i like the fact the bloke pulls no punches and says things that need to be said, i dont want us playing dire football.

As for Sherwood... he;s done nothing to warrant being on the "Prem manager merrigoround". He took over Spurs and although won fair amount of games, was also in charge when they had some catastrophic matches. Also he makes more excuses than Harry FFS... no thanks.

If (hopefully) we boot the myth that is Redknapp, we dont need to look elsewhere, we should pull all the stops out to get Hoddle to take over the main job. He would have us playing infinitely better football than HR and would have the players' total respect. He's a brilliant coach and manager and the fact he's on the club payroll in another capacity (because HR cant even coach his team) is a joke.

If not Hoddle, try to get McLaren back.
