Think these two might have their sights set a little higher than a bottom 3 Championship side! haha

Can see Sherwood taking this on. Got a good youth set up and the bad start has taken the "expected to be promoted pressure" off them a little. Pulis would expect a PL job IMO.

Personally think its a shame Neil Lennon has gone to Bolton. Have a feeling he will prove to be a shrewd appointment.

a TalkSport presenter tweeted an hour or so ago that Pulis to us will happen in the next week or so.. He said its a rumour that is doing the rounds gathering pace.

I think before we think Pulis is going to save us and get excited.. we should all remember we thought HR would be our saviour at 1 time.

I got told last night by some bloke who knows someone who does all the contracts, that HR is currently in talks to terminate and settle his contract. Whether you believe that or not is another as there is a lot of sh1t flying around at the mo!
i heard that too west about his contract they said his contract was very complex and could take a while!

There must be something in it then if you have heard it as well! I think it will be mutual agreement in all honesty.. TF and HR get on well so it wont be a sacking IMO.

his case is slightly different, MH always thought he was too good for us, HR was finished as a top flight manager, I confess I wanted MH but never HR.if we managed to get both Pulis and more importantly GF then we have a man involved (GF) that has the clubs best interest at heart.

Additionally, everytime we take a manager or player from Palace it nearly always works out well.

TV, Clive Allen, Sealy, Wicks, Flanagan? Warnock, Andy Gray.....
                          Kept the faith!

IF he came here would he want to bring in his own players and play 'his' style of football? OR would he stick with what we've got and play football to suit the players we already have (which I hope he would as I think we have a naturally attacking team)?

He also had 'his' style at Palace also. His style being a solid defense, players working hard for eachother and the needs of the team coming before the needs of any individual.

Stoke got branded with long ball mainly because of the long throw. But his main focus at the time was getting a small club promoted and building them into a solid Premier League club. With his direct football and hard working ethos he achieved that. It was not his job to entertain arm chair fans watching match of the day.

He went to Palace and could have been much more direct, but he chose not to. That shows his style is not so bad after all.

Great point Burnside not been entertained at all under Harry. Though it might change in top flight but it has not

I think Ill always (unless proved other wise) have this opinion on Pulis that he does play boring hoofball football because thats all I remember seeing when he was at Stoke. Remember seeing a few games and thinking this (and not just about the long throw ins) and that thought has sort of stuck with me.

But in all honesty if he was appointed new manager I don't think I'd be to disappointed purely because I dont think I can stand the thought of us going on much longer the way we are.
