Hoddle was very poor at Wolves where he had full control. He had one of the biggest budgets in the Championship and couldn't get them promoted. Turning them into boring draw specialists.

Just because he was a great technical player doesn't mean he can turn average players into a great technical team. QPR need a manager who can get the most out of the players. Somebody like Tony Pulis.

have you ever thought about Specsavers then or didn't you notice his 5 years at Stoke !
one year out of six he did well off Gerry Francis back at palace ,
To bring back Francis under H R or under G H by all means , but look we are well short up front so whoever is in control we aint going to see many goals this side of January so Pullis's answer will be Stoke mark 2

I don't quite know where you are going with the Specsavers thing?
I personally think he did very well at Stoke and would take being established and finishing top 10 for 5 seasons?
I think Stoke 'mk 2' is better than what we have now and the goal is staying up so why would Stoke 'mk 2' be a bad thing?

We're not even organised under Redknapp.. I think Pulis would at least make us organised and hard to beat.. Please remember that Palace didn't have a prolific goal scorer last season and they finished mid-table in the end.

Pulis was at Stoke for 10 years, turning them from a team heading to League 1 into a mid table Premier League team. The results over those 10 years say his style worked. If it was a poor as you're making out then surely he would be losing every week?

The work at Palace was 90% down to Pulis. Francis has no say at all in the defensive shape of the team, that was what Pulis coaches in every training session during the week. (Francis was also a part time coach at Stoke, so do you blame the long ball on him too?)

Hoddle failed to get Swindon and Wolves into the Premier League. So why would he all of a sudden do a good job with QPR? He's been out of the game too long. Pulis knows the Premier League like the back of his hand.

All I'm going to say about Palace is Gerry Francis
You may think staying up is the be all and end all I don't , Stoke was the biggest pile of crap I have ever witnessed in football , every post you put out is anti H R that's your view fair enough but to think Pullis is the answer cos H R has been wanting doesn't seem constructive to me if you and others want a change that's fair to say but at least set your sights a bit higher getting shot of H R for Pullis would be change for change sake and I for one hope T F has more sense than to be swayed by that sort of plan

HR and Pulis are not at all alike?.. Pulis is 20 odds years younger than HR and has hunger. He also won manager of the season last season.. We cant get much higher expectation wise, can we?

You basically don't want Pulis because of his supposed style of play - That's fair enough but I think there are bigger thinks at stake at the moment then worrying about what style of play we will be playing.. As long as we win games, I don't care.

But are you sure we will win games under him ? we are too short up front guarantee wins that's why I'm against bringing in Pullis I don't rate him ,My main problem is Jordan and Bond ideally I would like to see them out and Hoddle having more involvement in coaching and team selection until December and if we could get G F to help out all the better

Winning football is always beautiful. I'd rather see us use route one and be in midtable than see passing game with no thread at all

No, of course I am not sure we will win games under him.. no one is!
I'm not quite sure why not having enough fire power up front effects Pulis coming in? Bit frazzled there!?

They decided to go down another route once he had established them I think?
