When managers like Sherwood are mentioned, I get the feeling we are in the spectrum of anyone but Redknapp regardless of suitability.
Don't think Les coming to us is a prerequisite for Sherwood. Sir Les is QPR, links to spurs means probably knows hoddle and redknapp well and with change in regime at Spurs means he needs other interests, I can't read too much in him being at ours.

It certainly is a step forward, West Acton- but I hope he can handle the pressure.

Sherwood has had less than six months experience as a manager. Why does anyone seriously think that makes him good enough to sort out our problems?

That's the thing. He managed a spurs side with plenty of talent. Not convinced he has what it takes to handle a team in our situation. Pulis has done it.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Hard bunch to please QPR fans we want a young manager but it has to be a young manager with experience

Not saying he is 100% the answer but would certainly be better then Harry. Yes he had a talented side at Spurs but it was a talented side under performing which a manager at that time who took over wth ZERO management experience (Sherwood) sorted out

He has a bit of self belief and arrogance about him and he backs himself some of the best ever managers had that Clough, Jose, Ferguson, Van Gal now not saying he is any of them but hes certainly not worth writing off out of hand

Our club is in a shambles. Of course you need to have experience to sort it out. Not like we have the time to give him a learning curve. Not to mention he will fark off if we get relegated. As would most as we will be fined heavily and face transfer sanctions or some other punishment like cast out the league.

Exactly. Pulis wouldn't come here and want to throw away his never relegated achievement on his CV. He would fight to the bitter end.

                    Its more positive already
He also sat in the stand when the team struggled. With the Spurs fans singing "Where Is Our Manager?"

He's young yes, but that also shows a lack of experience. And how do you know how he would react on deadline day? He had no say whatsoever on the Spurs transfer policy in his very short spell. So how do you know how the pressure will effect him?

It's not like he can come in and guarantee a 59% win rate. Tony Pulis can come in and guarantee clean sheets and survival.

God I hope not, he'll be shocking. Basically Harry mk2, except he's much younger. Spouts bllocks constantly, clueless about tactics, seems to be a dinosaur despite only being in his 40s.

It's mystifying how he's even in the running for this. The guy had half a season managing a top6 side by default. They finished 6th, exactly where you would have expected them to be. They played antiquated football straight out of the Blackburn 1990s playbook, weren't fun to watch or remotely consistent.

And yet he's suddenly flavour of the month. Why? What on earth has he done to be in front of Steve McLaren, for instance?

Appointing Sherwood would be the third time in a row Fernandes has gone for the recently-unemployed English loudmouthed flavour of the month. When will he learn?

I agree with ya mate, if we are looking to gamble on a younger manager to replace Harry then I would rather Karl Robinson.
He's had more managerial experience, has been in charge of a side that turned us over and also Man Utd this season as well.
But would rather Gallen be given a chance first.

More of a longer term option than Pulis.

Still a rookie but got enough about him I think to do a job. Just not sure if that job is QPR right now.

On the fence with this one. Heart says he'd be good. Head saying we need tried & tested.

I thought Joe Jordan when taken onboard would have gave them a big kick, but he seems to have done f*ck all really.
Harry is clueless but in Jordan,Bond and Hoddle we have 3 good coaches but starting to wonder what they actually do everyday at the moment.
