Do you think TF wanting a new stadium/training facilities for the future has effected our performances on the pitch for the last 3 years?

It might have, to some extent. It looks to me like he thinks too much about this pie in the sky and is not sufficiently in the here and today frame of things where the likelihood of that future paradise vision is being decided by our survival or relegation.

Really? I don't think it has.

Don't think its had any influence on managers he's brought in or any signings they've made.... Or formations, or atmospheres in the dressing room. Nor do I think its playing any part in him not firing HR... personally just think its another reason to knock TF or maybe its just an excuse for our poor football...

Let's just agree to disagree. If I was the owner I would have never started wasting time and money on drawing up new stadium plans until we have stopped being a yo-yo club. We like to ridicule Flavio for penny pinching but with hindsight his austerity approach to running our club looks much more attractive than the subsequent course of events. And no, it was not dependent on the division we were playing in. He would have been as careful with the money in the PL. Maybe it is just my background doing the talking, having grown up in Eastern Europe where the average working person earns much less and must learn to spend carefully.

              Nope, I guess I wasn't.

                I agree with Kirill.

There is evidence that TF loves QPR, but there is a mass of evidence that when it comes to sporting ventures, he's there for the taking.

Re Amit tweet. Have faith in what exactly? The stars? These people are children in football terms and QPR is their plaything.

Sooner or later a Daddy is needed to get to grips with the ongoing chaos. That man is not Harry, and until that particular nettle is grasped the rot will continue. He's going anyway at the end of term so we may as well get on with it.

Amit is right.. things will get better, with HR in charge or not.. we cant get much worse haha..

Just be careful what you wish for Kirill because losing TF would mean massive problems for the future of QPR.

Our problems are massive already compared to when Flavio sold up. We are now heavily in debt despite spending more than one season in the PL and facing another crippling relegation.

                      I'm afraid this is true.

Equally, one decent appointment could turn the old ship round.

How can one decent appointment turn around around Kirill's belief that Tony Fernandes should leave QPR?
The said appointment would be an employee of the devil incarnate.
Even if we stay up I'm guessing Kirill would rather Flavio. I take it you agree with this too.

Elementary, my dear Watson. Appointment of Amit as Chairman
Would be perfectly happy for Tony to stay on in some suitable auxiliary role,
perhaps what Gianni did towards the end of his tenure, meet/greet people, etc.

You should just look at the state Leeds are in. Plenty of big clubs with massive stadiums are ruined because they have been out of the premier league too long.

If we end up with a 40,000 stadium in the championship then unfortunately bluehoop we wi

For us that would mean around 29k."

I agreed with the part of Kirill's analysis I quoted. One decent appointment could turn the football side round. I've seen ordinary players transformed by a decent manager. Older fans will have seen it happen at QPR - more than once.

And while I agree that the level of indebtedness is greater than at any time under Flavio, and while I think it is obvious TF has made some serious mistakes, I never said or implied that Flavio would be a suitable replacement in the boardroom or that TF should be replaced. I agree with Kirill about the problems but my priority would be management rather than boardroom.
