In simple terms, not supporting Harry is a perfectly good way of supporting QPR.
Then in 6 mths you'll be posting the same stuff, just a different name in the frame

You speak as if you know me? You don't.
The players are quite clearly NOT playing for HR.. if they are then the bloke has clearly told them to go out there and not bother.

You could be right about the players. This was my view after sunday. To me if the players are not playing for the manager
then they are more to blame than arry.
They signed for him, they have an obligation to do their jobs.
Doesn't make sense to say he tells them not to try.........the players should be ashamed of alot of their performances this season, forget systems/tactics they have been slothlike

He has used soundbites to attempt to discredit the role of HR in Bale's career. It is not a well known fact that HR was intending to sell Bale, again that was media conjecture and the only "evidence" is the timing of the proposed move(s), beyond the transfer window where only loan deals were permitted. Notice that none of the words printed about HR believing Bale would ultimately be a full back are actually in quotes because again they are soundbites rather than facts emanating from HR. In fact the only thing Bloom actually quotes is a snippet from a Bale interview wherein he gives confirmation of what we all expected from HR - that players like to play for him and they work for him etc......................in actual fact the whole Bale interview gave HR plenty of credit for his development of Bale and I seem to recall Bale again expressing his gratitude to the man shortly after he signed for Real.
Anyway, my point was merely that it is a myth that HR is clueless and out of touch with the game, as it is that he only signs his former players and never puts faith in younger players - you only have to look at the signings he's made here for the evidence, despite the fact some rant on endlessly every time we are linked to another of his old boys - there is a clear balance between the two in our squad.
And, the point was really only made because it adds to the frustration - the facts are there, HR is a proven manager, there are scores of players that will say they want to play for him, go on the pitch to perform for him and love the way he works; there is also evidence that he is capable of invigorating a tired and failing bunch of players, in the way he did when he first went to spuds and there is evidence that he is capable of motivating more ordinary players in the case of Pompey when he got them promoted and off to a Cup final. Of course, there is also evidence that he can fail, like Southampton and our last season in the PL but that is not in question.
There's two things I don't understand, the first of which is why credit isn't given when it's due, with people only discrediting the good to enhance the case for the bad and the second, one I simply can't answer, is why oh why, despite his clear ability to do so in previous cases, has he been so incapable of molding this decent looking bunch of players into a mid table PL side. The only answer for me is that out Club is rotten to the core and that is something that dates back well beyond HR and TF, as well as beyond Tango and Cash and even perhaps before Palladini.
No one has sorted out the mess left behind by previous incumbents following the loss of Jim Gregory and Rangers has had a car crash existence ever since
Redknapp being described as a success is also open to question, his success at Portsmouth was extremely expensive and built by buying players, not coaching or developing them. Similarly at Spurs he inherited a group of players that were sevely underperforming due to a manager the majority disliked. Redknapp is a million miles behind most coaches in his training and motivational methods and if you look to progressive sports, such as cycling and rugby, which others are utilizing, he is on a different planet. Should have gone after relegation and then again after play off win, said so at the time, the longer he stays the longer it will take us to recover, if ever.

The one thing I will say in his defence is, a lot of hs payers follow him so he must be doing something right by them? I think he has just run out of steam.Kept the faith!

Older fans will remember how Terry Venables crafted a brilliant looking team out of - in some cases - some fairly workmanlike players. Harry just collects names and expects them to do the rest - or so it seems.
Where i disagree is to lay it at the door of Fernandez. Yes he has - like most fans - been naive twice. But ultimately he has given budgets to three managers that have been in vast excess of anything given to managers of similar sized clubs to us. He has also let both employ massive coaching staffs. In retrospect he should have been far stricter about transfers but effectively that is saying our managers have been so bad that the chairman is probably a better judge of player than the manager has been. He should have been able to expect Harry to fashion a decent team out of the players Harry chose to buy. As late as the back end of the transfer window prob the majority view of fans was that the board should leave transfers to "football people". At least the spending splurge of Warnock, Hughes and his dodgy agent friend, and now to some extent Redknapp has shown the folly of that.
That said, the catastrophic failure to replace Remy aside, fans were almost universally delighted with our transfer dealings this window. The big failure has not been buying the wrong players but the failure to put out a well trained, fit, organised team that looks up for the fight.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Good post above btw. You're still wrong about Adel of course, but speaking lots of sense on everything else!

^When he resigns the same old players it will be the same agents taking a cut. It's all an old boys club and Arry looks after his mates regardless of whatever club he's at. That's why he goes for the same faces...
Arry has winged it throughout his career and got VERY lucky, relying on players good enough to win games individually. We had two match winners - Remy & Adel. One sold, the other frozen out.
"There are no long and boring speeches about tactics, like I was used to at Real Madrid," Rafael van der Vaart said in a recent interview. "There is a clipboard in our dressing room, but Harry doesn't write anything on it. It's not that we do nothing – but it's close to that."
With Modric & VDV he could get away that; Mutch & Niko circa 2014 aren't winning games by themselves.
