Love Hill for his loyalty and commitment and he may turn into a quality coach/manager but to suggest the more experienced players respect him is very questionable. Remember he was around last time we produced lackluster performances and he didn't have much effect then.

Lot of revisionism going on here. Barton was around right through last season for all those godawful games against Charlton, Wednesday etc. Did he "not stand for it" then? Why do we think he'll suddenly have this effect now? Was a different Barton jogging around in the Spurs game?
