    Do not want Pulis here!!....

He's just a quick fix IMO. He'll keep us up, probably mid table next season then comes the long boring football and before long it'll be 'Pulis Out' we want more attractive football!.... IF Harry's going we need a new start with someone who's got a bit of freshness about them a bit like Ronald Koeman, Garry Monk even Nigel Person all bring a fresh approach to the game, seem to play without fear. Whether this is a good thing only time will tell. But 1 things for sure their a lot more exciting to watch than us and than Stoke ever were.

Im not sure who's really out their and available but IMO Pulis will be Harry Redknapp number 2 and we'll be in this exact position all over again in 2/3 seasons time looking for yet another manager.

      Agree.

Go back a year and people would of ridiculed you for even mentioning Pulis!! Now he's the messiah.

      No thanks.

If he is going to leave at the end of the season he might as well leave now and let the new long term broom have a crack at keeping us up.

No mate I was using them as examples of the type of manager who we should be going for. I was NOT saying we should go for one of them for the obvious reasons you've just mentioned.

I'd take Pulis now. Why? I think he'd do a better job than HR, he's available, and I'd bite your hand off for boring mid-table football right now.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Have to agree with this. For where we are at at the moment, with the big powerful side we have, I would take him.
He may turn in to another HR and Hughes but it aint working again so we have to try something.

Rich when we were relegated there was a lot of "I don't care how we do it lets just get promoted ASAP".... that in mind all the way through last season their was constant moaning on how bad we played, the type of players we brought but we still got promoted, just like everyone wanted.... IMO if we sign Pulis and in 2/3 seasons time when we all want more attractive football and we're in the same position as we are now it'll be the pro Pulis one's saying we never learn, we should of gone for more exciting manager etc etc.

I think people know what they get with Pulis. I wouldn't say no to a few seasons of mid table finishes albeit with boring football, but it'll give us some stability. The last thing we need is risk taking. I'm not a big fan of his, but I think he'll do a reasonable job for us.

Personally think it'll do the complete opposite of giving us stability. When he goes we'll have to change managers again, change staff/coach's again, change players again, change systems again etc etc etc. We're very fast becoming a joke club, going back to the begging of the Flavio years up until now. We've got all this money but yet we cant seem to get right, even with our promotions we still get it so wrong.

The absolute key is stability and swapping managers the way we do is not the answer. If qpr is going to be a success we need to bring in a manager and stick with him. And if that means biting the bullet and rebuilding in the Championship then so be it IMO.

Pulis. Another short term appointment IMO.

Done well at palace granted but doubt they have the same nonsense we have behind the scenes affecting things.

Every manager is a risk though aren't they?

Pulis, Howe, Robinson, Steve Clarke, Neil Lennon, Malky Mackay, Tim Sherwood.
Whoever it may be they are going to have a tough job.

Oh for a bit of boring, mid table prem stability! Think i cd take a bit of hoofball for that. As things stand we are going down and with potentially a 40m fine facing us - and if that happens, literally anything cd happen. Think fulham but worse. fans need to be realistic. We are in dire trouble. After the play off final i suggested that harry be retired and we bring in a progressive manager. Sadly we have missed that boat and now we have to do whatever it takes to survive.

With a potential £40mil fine looming I think we have to think short term gents as if we drop we in the dodo so we need someone who knows how to stay in the league as that £40mil fine will double as we will get another one for breaching FFP again in the championship next season so £80mil plus

I want think long term but until this FFP is sorted it's short term planning I'm afraid when it comes to the first team squad
