Arrys Contract

For the past month or so Arrys been asked numerous times about has he signed his contract extension offered to him by TF..his answers have been no he hasn't signed yet but he will when he can find the time ?

Ask yourself why he hasn't signed ?

His comment that he would have retired had we failed to gain promotion a big clue on his desire to carry on managing our club at his age.
Maybe TF persuaded Arry to carry on and if that's the case it's clearly evident that he won't sign an extension and could explain his lacklustre approach to managing our club.
If this proves to be true then I would not expect TF to swing the axe on Arrys tenure with our club..the best we can hope for is he walks of his accord.

I think the only reason he hasn't is because the board has probably put a clause in saying if we sack you you get no pay off. Only logical reason I can think of.

Please don't anyone think Harry's doing it for the good of the club. Harry is all about Harry.

Oh I dunno mate. Very dangerous game to pretend you have a contract for someone and haven't just to get results. Would look very bad on him in the business world.

I don't believe any big name manager like Arry would accept Hoddle being appointed to assist in coaching unless Arry wanted to take a back seat or has expressed to TF that he no longer has the drive or determination to take our club forward.
TF has persuaded Arry to stay as manager this season for continuity and has tried to motivate him further by offering a contract extension which he has publicly stalled in signing.Our poor start can only be an even bigger drain on Arrys motivation to stay as manager and is reflected in his inability to get our players to compete and perform to an acceptable level.
Put yourself in his position at his age...I would be happy talking on talkshite once a week to keep myself active or a couple of MOD appearances now and again.
Hurry up and walk Arry we know you want to.

if his contract is up,it won't be too expensive to terminate. Will cost more when he get us relegated. Only reason he's still around is that his name happens to be Harry Redknapp
