  • Coaching the basics

Do we actually have guys coaching defending or attacking.
    Coaching the basics of football.
Opponents seem to find it easy attacking us and creating chances.
Also Harry was saying yesterday about lack of fitness, well who's job is it to get the players fit !

We have a fitness and conditioning coach, don't we ?

We have more coaches than players & still can't keep a ball or break down a team!!

When the Hammers lined up for their first corner kick, assumed what happened would happen -- we look completely lost on those set plays, and instead of the defenders scratching and clawing they are more often dipping and ducking. Why is it that the coaches, to a person, refuse to man up to the fans that their current level of play is unacceptable. With Harry, it's always an excuse. Yesterday, he hit the players on conditioning. How bout owning this? How bout TF telling his coaches to tell the fans they get it, they're not doing THEIR job well enough, and that things will change beginning with their refusal to accept mediocrity.

I still have no idea what Green was doing for there disallowed goal.. was he trying to prove a point by kicking it at Valencia or did he genuinely try to pass through someone from a goal kick... either way, shocking and very risky!

I am okay losing every game the rest of the season as long as the players show they will bleed for this coach and this team. If not, what is the reason for TF to maintain a status quo that has the Hoops playing boring, pedestrian, uninspired football. Who wants to watch that? Who wants to identify with that? Every time Leicester City or Burnley take the field, you know they're all in, win or lose. With QPR, it's an attitude of we're going to lose, let's get on the field and get it over with.

apparently the 2nd goal was also 'against the run of play'

the reason why tony will keep the status quo is because redcrapp is the media darling. surrounds himself with media folk and is loved by all.

the one thing tony wants is good publicity. he would much rather see us get relegated than get slaughtered for sacking pig face.

its just one big ego trip.

Exactly, and this comes from Harry & co, because they are pretty much of the same mindset.

The fact that he was coming out before the season started with all this "it will be a hell of an achievement if we stay up", just speaks volumes about his negativity and how it has now spread to all the players.

You never heard Dyche or Pearson even mention relegation or staying up, but we didn't stop banging on about it before a ball had even been kicked.

Starting to get the stage where we need some heart back... Where was Clint yesterday? Not even on the bench was he...

                          This is true.
It's startling the difference in ambition on and off the pitch.
Off the pitch, the skies the limit. New stadium, 40,000 crowds, state of the art training facilities.
On the pitch, finish 17th in the table, and to Hell with the cups.

We need a stable team, a culture, a philosophy, an identity and a long term manager before we should be even contemplating a training ground and stadium.

Off the pitch it's all pie in the sky fantasy at present , on the pitch its a harsh reality.
