That's problem I have with chants of that nature and any behaviour/language like that, at games and on forums like this.
We're all QPR on here and at games, which gives a little leeway, but we are mostly strangers in the most part, and it's just good sense to remember that not everyone around you is like you and your mates. Just a basic rule of life tbhOoh northern lads love gravy

Originally posted by West Acton View PostI would add two things. As a mixed race supporter I have to say my heart sank a little bit sat on the Train to Southampton with what I class as my own supporters/brothers singing what is an offensive song (and as many of you will know of me on here im not a shy or withdrawn person or someone that complains of racism quite the opposite live and let live) but when your sitting their clearly a QPR fan as you have a badge on and one of them nods at you as tey walk past recognising your a Ranger it does beg the questions do they recognise the connotations of the song. What got me most is the lack of intelligence of the six or seven teenagers singing it and they were teenagers as I honestly do not think they recognised how the song could be taken and to them there singing a song cause it rhymes in 'Remy' and 'Tree' I seriously think they were to thick to link how it could be taken out of context.
It never done the clubs rep any good as a few Southampton fans on the train were shaking their head hearing it and one passenger actually complained and the train controller walked up and told them enough was enough and they in fairness stopped it after that. But they were kids drinking cans of beer on the train thinking they were double hard but actually making themselves look rather silly. I recognise a couple of them but grassing is not my style so will have a subtle word next time I see them and tell them to smarten up.
Second point if the club think this issue is so serious that they have asked various fans forums to put a message up why have they failed to put anything official up on the website??? doing via the forums to me smacks of trying to tackle the issue on the quiet while trying to protect the clubs reputation which to some extent undermines the message they are trying to put out. Might just be me thinking that way
Should add saw the incident with the dad and the kid and believe the fans that got turfed to be trappy fans who rare up at their own at away games on previous occasions. The geezers mate trying to save his mate getting tugged by saying we can sort it out between ourselves after throwing punches was a proper bell end

i was sitting near the group singing the remy song , they were standing up at the back and the stewards had the thankless task of trying to get them to sit down . ive been going away for many years and have never heard anything like that before . so what if remy went to chelsea that song was bang out of order. there were a lot of drunks at the soton game maybe the football is getting to them . i hope this was just a one off and it now gets put to bed.

weve
weve not really ever been known as a racist firm because back in the day the origional loft featured two black brothers who came from ealing and they were lovely geezers
anybody who sings a racist song must realise we have an identity, its only millwall and chelsea who have really pushed the boat out in terms of pushing white supremacy
and, millwall bully boys tried to intimidate the peckham boys although they were millwall because many of them were black, the result was a massive fight that happened on a pre season friendly
AND YES THE MULTI CULTURAL PECKHAM SMASHED UP DEPFORD ROTHER HYTHE AND BERMONDSY
SO ITS ONLY CHELSEA THAT NOW WANT TO KEEP THE RACISM GOING

Thus only appearing on the Away Tickets tab on the official, and not pushing it out via their social channels, where it could get picked up on by the national press. Admittedly doing it this way still produces a risk of that but hopefully a lesser one.
