  • Austin instead of Lambert..

Just seen the England squad and cannot for the life of me understand how Lambert has got in it again?!
He sits on the bench every week.

Berahino for West Brom is in the U21's and the next highest English goal scorer in the league is Austin.. So, why not call up Austin instead of Lambert Roy, if your going on form etc. Austin's 24 and a hell of a lot younger. People may says its too early for Charlie but not IMO..

If I was a betting man I would put money on Charlie being in the next England squad.

I would actually bet on Austin being in the England squad after this season is over. Hopefully, he'll still be a Ranger as well.

If he scores 10-15 goals this season then it wouldn't surprise me if a Spurs start sniffing round.. I have no doubt he will play for England though.

Lambert got in because he plays for fashionable Liverpool, the same as Smalling, Jones. Cleverly(now Everton) these guys would never get in other than they play for Man Utd smalling is awful

Not sure I want him getting injured on international duty.

            This.

Obviously little Qpr just isn't fashionable enough for England anymore. Lambert doesn't even play, Chas should get a shot.

And Lambert and Shelvey are? What is England standard based on?

Same here but I would love to see him get an England call in the future, I'd be so happy for him.

Charlie has a lot to offer still.

Some of our youngsters on this forum are good entertainment, austin for england ha.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Um goals? Lambert has scored over 20 goals in the premier league.

Austin scored a fantastic goal don't get me wrong and should of got more credit than he recieved but to say he should get an england call up because of it is a little far fetched mate.
You need to calm down a little but I can't knock your enthusiasm

How many has he got this season and how many mins has he played? - Your point is irrelevant as Hodgson has said he is picking a squad on form.
Him and Berahino are highest scoring Englishman in the league.. and Sorry, have I said he should get an England call up BECAUSE of his goal at the weekend? No I didn't.

Ok so you're trying to compare me saying adel for QPR and you for saying Austin for england.

A player that has just made his premier league debut to a player that was playing in europe for Ac Milan, yet isn't no where near good enough for QPR who are a far better club than those european lightweights

Austins got more chance of playing for England than Fat Boy has playing for Milan again.
