The problem is 1 of our strikers is a cripple, 1 is a bricklayer, and 1 is new to this league & probably won't even get a chance up front.[/QUOTE]

    LOL and so true

the main difference is our 3 strikers won't score many goals and probably won't get many chances

Would be nice if our midfield occasionally moved the ball a bit quicker, then maybe passed to strikers to give them at least a chance in THE PENALTY AREA rather than the midfield doing soft shots from 20 yards out.

We only have three problems If they are sorted imo we will be ok:

            1. Lack of believe.
            2. Defensive football.
            3. Fitness issue.
            QPR fan since1987

They are 3 massive issues, which are 3 issues too many and 3 issues that are not cured overnight...

Think a big part of the problem is we are having to use the start of the season as our pre-season due to total lack of preparation.
That said we "should" get better and improve, but these away batterings won`t be doing a great deal for confidence so could go the other way and get worse.
would like to see us use Phillips & Hoillet a lot narrower and not isolated on the wing all the time with 2 holding Mids and Niko/Fer roaming in the middle, 4-2-3-1 with Isla, Traore able to attack when in possession.

But you have to ask yourself WHY this has happened.. Its shocking. This cant be used as an excuse.. Just because its one of HR's many excuses does not mean we should believe it!

                    Totally agree...
I`m not a fan of loads of players joining every transfer window, but when it`s needed it`s needed and it was needed quickly.
Think H made some great signings in the end but looking a lot like Hughes` side...very midfield heavy and lite everywhere else.
Think it may be time for a change of coaches, Bond & Jordan seem to have very little clue.

Everything goes back to the spending of 2 years ago though IMO.. all those players on big contracts, all those mercenaries meant we had to ship them all out and in due course that is where the instability of the squad started.. in an ideal world, I would of liked to of stayed in the Champ for a few seasons. Build a young team again on sensible money.. But it simply wasn't plausible due to the money situation. We had to get back up straight away no matter what the side because we needed the money..

We got up in the end and then we had to start all of again, building another side.. its all been one big rush full of road humps along the way and not once has there been any thought of stability or long term future. If there was, then we would of got a young manager in to instil a new culture, philosophy and style, instead of a 67 year old has been who has yet to instil any sort of playing style or philosophy since he has been here..

Been thinking that for a while , can't see just what they do , the defence never has any cover always been a gap between them and the m/f to be exploited on the counter attack ,has Charlie improved with so called better players around him ? no , has Hoilet found an end product ? no

When you look at a manager and coaches I think you have to ask yourself two questions..

1 - Has he instilled a philosophy, culture and style for the team and club to follow and stick to..
2 - Have they got enough out of the players individually in a squad.. are they improving as players..

IMO the answer to both of those questions is No in the 2 years HR and his team have been at the club.

The Mid just seem to switch off and let the opposition run past them, by that time we look like conceding every time.

I still maintain H R is the man for us , but have to admit his weakness seems he is being to loyal to his staff my message to H is get ruthless look for someone else bringing in Steve Mac and Hoddle is admitting there's something they are not doing
