Yep so true.... also Mutch even though before he got injured on Saturday he was probably our best player...... another one this week Isla, after 1 bad performance, he's no good.... Kranjcar was also a waist of time bringing him here but he's just had a MOTM game and saved us from defeat and now getting all the praise.

To be fair I haven't been impressed with Isla in any of the games

Thought he had an ok game V Sunderland as for Spurs and UTD no one turned up.

I thought isla was man of the match vs Sunderland, his positioning was excellent and he didn't make a single mistake. He only underperformed this week, given that everyone played badly prior matches vs Spurs and Man Utd

He got caught out a few times against Sunderland especially in the 1st half but he definitely improved as the game went on

It does make the decision to get rid of Simpson baffling though

Spot on regarding Mutch. Without him and Barton we were a bit hamstrung (excuse the pun) against United and again on Saturday, once those two went off injured our team's dynamic changed massively. Mutch is going to be a big player for us this season yet he gets dogs abuse off the usual suspects. Nico again, the derision when he re-signed
Isla is a different kettle of fish. Clearly a wing back that has never played as a full back but I'm sure he will adapt and become an excellent player. Admittedly, I am as baffled as the next man about releasing Simpson but we don't know the full story so my preference is not to blame the management until or unless there is good reason to do so.
Fer is another receiving mixed reviews but with the aforementioned two and Sandro having fitness issues, he is being played out of position but has stil shown himself to be a good buy.
It always has to be someones turn though doesn't it.
