Lightening wont strike twice. I just think some managers need to wake up and smell the coffee. Look at Swansea and Southampton over the last couple of years and look at how they play away from home against the big boys..... sure, they'll come unstuck from time to time but any modern manager knows you can not park up and play deep these days.

Swansea and Southampton have a settled squad and different philosophy than HR. I would love us to play the type of football both those teams do.

Im 49 and been going regular every season since i was five if that makes any difference to you. And i can post when i like cos i work for myself and get pretty bored doing so, so peruse this forum cos rangers is my hobby. Hope that clears it up and the reason why i wont bow down to your superior r's/football knowledge .

Swansea had less shots and less corners than we did!

All in the quality of chances created and Swansea put away 2 of their 5 they had. Don't go thinking they didn't defend for most of the 90 though.

Its not the defending for me it's the sitting off and allowing United to play i.e No pressing and No effort

His game plan was obviously to soak up the pressure and attempt to keep them out for as long as possible, hoping the longer it went on, we may get a chance to put away.. That sort of game plan is great when it works but terrible when it goes wrong, like in this case.

He set the team up that way yesterday.. and actually didn't seem that disheartened by the performance of his players so I would say yes the anger of the performances should be directed at him. He motivates them, he sets them up, he picks the team. The buck stops with him.

I'm not disappointed we lost, I'm disappointed with how we lost. I'd like to see us play with more conviction and really go at the opposition. Having seen how we went at Sunderland in the first half there's no reason why we can't go at every team like that. We rolled over at Spurs and Utd. There's glimmers of potential, but personally I think our weakness is our defense. Whatever happens, we need to get behind the team on Saturday. It's in our hands to create an amazing atmosphere, we may as well seeing as we all fork out the cash to go to the games!
