You think Swansea went there on the opening day with the same attitude?

Don't know about other people but I have pride in the badge and watching us get humiliated fkin hurts.

Totally agree . We roll over time after time and let teams tickle out bellies . I can't think of another team who would do that , like others have said it's not the defeat it's the manner every single time . No pride, no desire and no application and that was clear for the whole country to see . Quite how anyone can defend it is beyond me , the team are quite rightly getting dogs abuse for what was a dog**** performance . Again

Kev mate were newly promoted we should be buzzing but as soon as someone puts us under the cosh we s hit ourselves . We defended so deep we might as well been sitting in the stands with the punters . It wasn't good enough, the lack of effort and basic understanding was frightening . If your going to go away and put men behind the ball and play for a draw then at least make sure your players know the basic rules of defending . Redknapp and his cronies have (or should have ) been working on this they've had two f ucking weeks !!! There's something wrong because we make the same mistakes time and time and time again . Someone's needs to be accountable and at qpr no one ever is , it's like it doesn't matter how enbarrasing we are it's just accepted

We have played two top six sides away from home so far mate, win against stoke and its all forgotten cos do we really expect to beat any of the top six away from home?
Southampton away will be a proper show of how bad we actually are i reckon, cos they are just a mid table side. If we get hammered by them, then its deffo panic time i reckon.

I expected to get beaten if I'm honest but to bend over and let them shaft us with no fore in out bellies in inexcusable in my opinion . Who knows what would have happened if we'd gone for the jugular ? Their confidence was on the floor and we've given them the perfect tonic for that . Fed up

HR has got his hands tied with the lack of goals and strikers in the squad

it is a pity cos there are plenty of obstacles to survival already without adding your own

Hoping that myself and those of a similar mind are proved wrong but right now I can't see it.
Our strikers were NOT the main problem today.

Think that will become more clear over the course of the season sadly. Not blessed with the technical ability needed at this level but will no doubt still get a few goals.

Our main problem for many years is lack of confidence in away game by giving too much respect to the hosts. That was even an issue in the Championsip (charlton, Doncaster, Bournemouth, etc.). We need to learn from the likes of Swansea and Southampton not to fear any side. Not defending too deep and try to attack sometimes.

Despite selling most of their key players, southampton still doing well. The culture of confidence is there.

There didn't even look like any goals from our midfield. Those who seem to think that there will be 20+ goals from midfield this season are sadly misguided. Philips missed an absolute sitter, he only had to stroke it in with De gea stranded, and scuffed it.
I did think that Vargas looked good when he came on, and would expect him to start the next game, but the midfield need to get up in support quickly and in numbers if we continue to play one up front away.
Hoilett, Phillips and Niko could have played till next Sunday and not got a goal.

Far too good for the Championship. Time will prove his ability in the top flight.

why not judge Austin after he has played against the likes of WBA, Stoke, Palace, Southampton Swansea etc rather than away at Spurs and Utd where he was isolated as a lone striker!

He was unlucky not to score at home to Hull (although no excuses for missing the pen) and he scored against Sunderland.
