But it's not the loss; it's the performance and the tactics.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Stoke and Swansea among others have done well against top sides this term. There is no excuse for not turning up against the MUs of this world, especially when they look uncomfortable at the back.

Our GD is already a mess as a result of selection and tactics, and Southampton look decent to me. At this level you have to fight for every point.

Never going to win no, but the howling gaps and lack of marking and closing down in defence is extremely worrying.....and none of that has to do with the quality of the opposition today.

Why do we always do the biatch thing against top sides when other teams have a go? Where does that negativity come from?

Agreed, we have to beat teams like Stoke, Sunderland, Palace etc.

Every game counts first you have to turn up, if we go out with those tactics every away game, we will end up with the most goals conceded ever in the Prem, Redknapp is clueless in this division.

We'll have to obliterate them if we're going to bend over for the top boys every three weeks.

Just like Spurs away it's not too much to expect a half decent performance away from home. Ever since we've returned to top flight football under Warnock we just literally turn up at the big clubs and defend and normally quite badly as well. We really look like relegation fodder on the road and can't see us picking up more than 3 wins all season if that.

I'm a realist. We were playing against a bunch of players that united bought for over 300/400 million quid. On their own patch . We win next Saturday we will be on 6 points and in the top half. I'd settle with that.
