I'm the best part of £200 down on a match I expected to get beat at
but my phone is full of texts from Reds laughing at how clueless we were ....... We scraped promotion by the skin of our teeth , & we continue to look like rabbits caught in the headlights against anyone with half a clue .........

For us that would mean around 29k."

Nw mate i totally understand but it was so obvious we were going to get hammered. I would of never of gone to that game even if the club laid on a free stretch limo with six strippers in it cos it was that clear what the result was going to be. Home games only if you want to see a good performance this season, otherwise you are just going to be wasting time and money every other week mucker. Its a real tough division and we cant compete with the top half away, its one of the reasons this division is so bad, the predictability of all the losses.

We've had complaints from parents about their kids reading the forum with all the increase in swearing lately, on what is supposed to be a family-friendly forum in case some had forgotten.

They would of got done if they faced that team and the new 150 millions quids worth of uber talent mate. Bet any money united come third or even better now and go on a really good run. Total rangers luck as someone made a post about it, we got them at the wrong time and i honestly believe they would of hammered anyone today. A team with that amount of talent is never ever going to lose or draw to a team with Clint hill, niko kranjcar , matty phiilips and junior hoilett in it. Not even if they played each other every day for ten years im afraid.

You're wrong bud, sorry. Man Utd have no defence at all, a Chel-mehmehmehmeh or Man City would bury United at the moment....

They may scrape into the top4..... May..... But won't get near the title while their house is built on sand.

No they wont topple chelsea cos they are different gear, but id bet with anyone they are above arsenal and liverpool and make third come season end. That day and that team and that manager was all pointing to a win and i genuinely believe they would of beaten any team in the division today, it was just on the cards, one of those things.

Exactly ..... As I stated Kev I left the house this morning expecting to get beat & even joking with all the Reds in the pubs in Mankychester they should put a cheeky 50p on Zamora to get a hat trick ( I actually think a few of them phoned through for prices ) but I AM fed up with clueless management I'm afraid ........ I'd post some of the texts I got from posters on here during the game who watched it on Sky, but it's best to protect those who may not be on line to defend their views

I cant see how people are shocked with how we played though, i really cant. Its alright saying 'we should of had a go, we needed to have a go at them' but how does anyone think that could even be anywhere near possible with niko who aint played in months and months and who hasnt scored or made a goal in years and years, and ditto with hoilett and phillips, both cant cross or shoot. That was our flair and they couldnt have a go at an under five years old girls side over gunnersbury park im sad to say.

Cant see this season being any better or more attractive than last season i really cant. We will get hammered every away game and any of our home wins will be by shutting up shop and getting a scrappy goal or one from someone unexpected. Its on the cards and looking quite clear already to me. Just got to hope we win enough home games by the odd goal to keep us up. (for the money reasons only though, not for this league.)

Direct quote from a united season ticket holder friend of mine (ex colleague) I was drinking with before the game

" That was a real poor show from ur boys! Don't think we were that good! More your boys never showed up!"

That from a Season ticket holder watching the unveiling of ANOTHER batch of multi million pound signings !

They were not that good agreed, if they were they would and could of had ten or more. But it was just one of them days where they were not going to ever lose if you know what i mean. It was like the lord mayors show, and we ALWAYS oblige mate, you know that,

Agreed Kev, I think the point of peoples anger/disappointment is another clueless display of tactics, as stated I left the house knowing I'd be £200+ down but I hoped for some slight display of management from above to encourage me there is a plan to improve, it all seems a bit 'GROUNDHOG DAY' to me ....... Roll on next Saturday , the good news is I'll only have to roll my lardy butt from the beach to a bar for 2 hours then back out in the baking sun covering my wobbly bits in factor 3 olive oil on the way !
