Every time the ball bounces there is a cloud of black dust? It reminds me of iron filings... very strange and reminds me of the first time I saw a match at LR on the 'Omniturf' it was the same but with sand...

Gutted that gimp Bale has just put the Welsh 2-1 up I was hoping that they would have the shame of a draw.... 1958 WC was the last time those poor sods were at a major tournament.... Blimey that's a couple of generations of Boyos resigned to cheering on England's opponents....

Was getting a little nervous before that 2nd tbf, and Andorra were abysmal cheats. No excuse for it being that close though, Wales won't be getting anywhere near qualifying anytime soon...

It was rather strange that pitch you're right and not as good as the one Russia used but to be honest, there's no real need for an artificial pitch these days surely?

Looked like a 3G artificial pitch to me. The black clouds of dust are tiny pieces of rubber that help dampen down the ball bounce.
