If not, why not? He usually does. I'm a tad concerned.......
I think they're just keeping it close to their chest.

It's obviously an issue..... but the more talking the FL and the media do..... the more ammo we've got.

Unfortunately QPR paid stupid wages that could not be afforded, and cancelling and paying off contracts was not really possible for all of the Premiership squad and in any case would still have recorded huge losses.

It's no wonder QPR will challenge these rules.
If a club wants to stay in the Premiership it needs to pay competitive wages to have a decent chance of doing so, which is one of the reasons why Reading went straight down.
it is an absurdity though. the gap between premier league tv income and championship income (after parachute payments) is ludicrous - about £45m now, to bridge that gap from wages alone, each player in a 22 man squad would need to agree to a £40k weekly wage drop in the event of relegation - no one would ever sign up to that kind of contract.

loaning and selling players is not necessarily the answer: loaning players shifts some or all of the wages and can even (in some cases) bring in a loan fee, but as long as a club holds a players registration, they need to charge a share of that player's transfer fee to the accounts (even if that player doesn't kick a ball once all season for the team).

selling players can also be counterproductive - each player has a 'book value' based on how much the transfer fee was less how much of this has already been charged into the accounts (transfer fee is charged evenly over the duration of the contract). sell the player for less than the book value and the difference is a charge to our accounts, sell for more and the difference is seen as income.

i'm not knocking the likes of burnley for trying to do things "the right way"... lots of free transfers on short contracts. but it's going to be a struggle for them. maybe they'll survive, maybe they won't. if they stay up, they'll have exactly the same problems next year. if they go back down, they'll at least have some money in the bank. but, ironically, that money in the bank will be more-or-less useless to them because of the way ffp works in the championship, which is based purely on profit and loss for the season in the championship.

Just as a point of order ...where does this harvey bloke get off spouting about our finances when he has no idea what our figures will be, and he also has no planned

When this was introduced there should've been a list of punishments, not some nobody northern monkey "theoretically" telling the world what he and his circus are going to do to

If England had lost then this would not have been a story. They have probably had this story written and sitting on the shelf for when they had gaps to fill. England lose and it would have been pages of Roy out and this would have stayed on the shelf

basically they might as well form a league with 4 clubs, because with FFP they will be the only ones with a cat in hells chance of winning the title. If you are spending hard cash and not going to the banks for loans, then I can't see what the problem is
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

this agree they would have taken far more action by now

                        Hopefully some good news...

Good to see we're not alone and now getting support from other PL clubs over these unfair rules, and urging the PL to take on the FL over it: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...lenge-4197679?

There was a great phine call from goldstein to some cockerknee sun journo last night about midnight on talk sport. Said man city are the main culprits but the f.l will just pick on qpr because they haven't got the clout to fight a world power like man city. Well worth a listen cos for once someone in the press stuck up for us.

My take on this is that its all bull shite. We have got a fine, and if we go down again we pay it, of we stay up we dont have to and we wont. Its just idiots giving more idiots a chance to hate us even more than they already do cos we have a superb owner and can buy quality players for such a small club.

Man City as well, Financial fair play rules bite at both ends of the Premier League table.
