Not my words mate thats from Michael Hann (Journo and QPR fan) but i agree with him. Actions talk louder than tweets and apart from blowing £150 mill "Uncle" Tony has done **** all as of yet. They keep saying they intend to write off debt but have they done it yet? A fair chunk of that money was due to TF buying names to promote AirAsia but that has been glossed over. What about Warren farm and how vital (oh hold on he's changed his mind) an academy and training ground is? Man of the people and loves to tweet patronising tweets but as of yet, so far, up to now he aint done much to prove he is much of a Chairman with the clubs 100% best interests at heart. Big season for him this one with much to prove.

To my knowledge, they have never once said that they intend to write off the debt. They have however, mentioned looking at it as a possibility. Two very different things.

Care to explain how writing off the debt will have a significant effect, other than the fact that writing off £150m would increase the value of the football club (which they own) by approx £150m?

People should stop worrying needlessly about the debt. The more we get behind them and support them in what they are trying to do, the better the chance of the debt reducing/being cleared. It's if they walk away due to abuse that the problems will arise.

He got relegated and got us back up at first attempt, we were stuck there for 15 odd years before don't forget.

Well it's their debt and is a result of their glaring ineptitude or that of their front man anyway so the club shouldnt be saddled with it once they are gone but it doesnt work like that does it? We are a small club that they are trying, failed up to now, to turn into a big plastic one. First they tried to do a Man City but on the cheap and failed hilariously and now we are the catalyst for their entertainment complex and surrounding area. I suppose as fans some have just given up worrying knowing that that thanks to the board and their decisions it's too late and we now can no longer stand on our own with such debt and running costs. Head in sand, wish for the best and things like Academy's and buying big names for profile doesnt matter in the long run as nothing we as fans can do can change it so best of we just forget about it cos that Tony is such a passionate man, see him at Wembley!........

I think it would be naive not to bear in mind the financial context....

If it was in the backers personal names i wouldnt give a toss but its debt in the clubs name and brought about by errors made in the running of the club. Saying "i had my trousers pulled down" or "i shouldtnt have trusted them" doesnt cut it.

Would bet a weeks wages they would never bail without wiping out the debts and leaving us in a sound position. Ive said it before, didnt the real money man spend nearly as much as our debt on his nieces wedding day. That debt is like one of us owing a score to a mate down the pub,
But hey, im not going to get in the way of anybody whos got anti tony/board feelings.

Of course but it is debt due to his poor running of the club. Nothing we can do about it now but the pathetic hero worship grates and now in that interview he is bigging up the fact that some fans sing his name at games. Just the blinkered ones Tony.

You sound like you are really not keen whatsoever on the manager or the chairman, in this thread and others today. What situation would you prefer and who with in charge? When were you happier as a rangers fan than you are at the moment in the premiership, cos you obviously dont seem to happy now hoops mate.

Which is what I suspect this is more about. IOW allowing personal prejudices to cloud one's better overall judgment.

Its not brain surgery Kev. I own a business myself and times are really tough but i am holding my own. If someone came along took over from me and then 3 years later had created a huge debt and increased running costs tenfold while taking the business nowhere then i would be pretty unimpressed. Apparently it's all ok though because they have this vision of the future where everyone is happy and they make tons of money. I think an Academy is vital for the club and i think a new stadium is the wrong direction to go in so i will never agree with the current board and their vision. They are gambling and they are gambling with something that has been a part of my life for nearly 50 years. I hold them accountable for the current huge debt and the embarrassing seasons just gone and once they are gone we as fans will be the ones who has to sort through this mess and i dont think there is a bucket big enough anymore. They have ****ed us and the only way out according to them is to let them keep ****ing us.

F**ked us up???....you sure?...As for this huge debt, it is their debt, not anybody else's. We don't owe local business's money.
50 years you say, yet you're fuming over recent seasons????...Jesus i ain't been following the Rs for 50 years but there have been equally bad seasons as the recent ones, if not worse.
