I'd be great if one day our chairman became a more cool-headed, even-cold hearted businessman, instead of running the football club like a kid in a candy shop who has just gotten his totally unexpected birthday present in the form of a hundred quid from his grandma, unbeknowest to his parents. He's got his magical Redknapp now, so what? He did not save us from relegation and only barely atoned for that, only to see us struggling again in the PL. Meh.

He is right about stability, the thing is HR has maybe a shelf life if 2/3yrs. I hope a succession plan is in place, if not Hoddle, it's important that either Clint Hill or Rio are factored into that thought process NOW!Last edited by californiahoop; 06-09-2014, 10:32 AM.Kept the faith!

Things are progressing nicely I would say.
If he gets the ground and training facilities sorted, and we must appreciate these things take time, ( we are in the heart of London) then we will be one of the major forces in the next ten yrs!Kept the faith!

Put all his trust in Harry and overly loyal which he may come to regret imo. Agree that the training ground and academy are vital but work hasnt even begun after being "unveiled" 2 years ago. Time will tell and still unproven as a chairman although an expert communicator and twitter user. As for stadium...no thanks.Kept the faith!

Disappointed with the soft ride given to Tony Fernandes in the paper today
Agree with that too...Last edited by Hoopsmad; 06-09-2014, 01:38 PM.
