Think that was the Cup 2nd replay. Lost 3-0 after Macca was sent off for elbowing Hughes. Was standing with about 200 other R's in the pissing rain. Monday night when they were rarities. Got the milk train home and night bus back to Hammersmith with my mate Mark Hodgson - straight into work. Lost 2-1 up there in the league. Think it was 2nd last game of the season and Macca scored!
Loved that season for some reason. First one back on grass, last decent adidas kit and some corking away games.Meet me by the railway tracks
