  • A great Alex McCarthy intervjew

New QPR signing Alex McCarthy says he has moved to the club to push Rob Green for the number one spot.

A great little interview with Macca, seems like he's got his head screwed on and I'm looking forward to seeing him in action!

P.s If the mods could embed the video that'd be ace

Geezer is a giant. Gonna be a great number one for years to come once he wins the jersey.

I think McCarthy will be no.1 goalie & stay there in a few months

I like Greeno, thought he was brilliant in all the playoff games, but McCarthy I think is top draw
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Unfortunately Sky dont provide embed codes. Good interview though and before long him or Green are going to end up being unhappy being a no.2

Looked amazing whenever I have seen him play us, which is most probably what most other people are basing their opinion on.

However, why was he dropped instead of Adam Federici, who looks pretty average whenever I have seen him.

Speaking of goalkeepers, I cant help wondering if youre named after Peter Bonetti?

Played in the u21s on monday and he got his first clean sheet in a rangers shirt.

                    a great start for him.

Can't see him getting his chance at the moment though.
Harry won't drop Green, with us out of the League Cup there's no chances for McCarthy to really prove himself.
