I suggested going for Borini early in the window, (knows the league, gets goals, and would be cheap I thought.) How wrong was I???
I honestly thought he`d be anyones for about £4m...
So glad we pulled out before he shafted us. Yes we needed another striker but not this guy
Also glad the club came out and told the reason why we pulled out.
We`ll get by playing 1 up front for a few months...

Spoke with a scouser at work today and he said the general feeling at the club was that they were very disappointed he didn't come to us. They wanted him off their books to whoever, now they are stuck with him on high wages doing naff all.
