I wasn't suggesting for one minute I'd like to be like fulham Vespa. The club are trying to grow though and sadly that means moving away from loftus road . I love lr as much as everyone else and there will most definatly be a lump in my throat when that day comes but for us to grow and succseed as a club it has to happen . Also agree with you that 30-33000 with the option to expand would be a much better bet

You and me both mate . Just think rangers have got a bigger fan base than is represented in our current attendances and that certainly needs to be tapped into

Unfortunately I don't see a way around it unless you're like City who had a huge diehard fan base before moving to the new ground and they have united local to take away some of the plastics. I am sure though since city have been successful those plastic fans have started to increase, so thats a downfall because of their own success.

I agree maybe a 30,000 stadium would help to reduce the illegals-plastics but Tony is not just thinking about QPR young Vesps.
He wants 10,000 extra tickets to be sold when the Rolling stones play there at 200 pound a ticket plus.
You can't blame him for wanting the extra revenue that this would clearly provide.
We're all about QPR and rightly so but Tony isn't blinkered like us and I think it will help to make us more competitive in what is a very tough league.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The fact Car Giant hasn't even been mentioned and we have announced our plans says they don't see Car Giant as a problem. Maybe Tony Mendes is just shouting his mouth off for the sake of it. I don't know what the situation is but the fact TF doesn't seemed to be fazed by Car Giant may mean something

                      Think that's a disgrace

Dont want to move from Loftus Rd simple as that. Think this whole thing is more for the benefit of TF and his backers than QPR the football club. We are a small club with a small fanbase...personally i dont want to be like Fulham and treble attendances and "fans" by including tourists and converting local fans of other teams. No thanks. It's a slim hope that it doesnt happen and that it will go t1ts up but i will cling to it. Been going to Loftus rd for 40 years and i am hoping for at least another 20.

Extra 10k seats for Elton John concert etc makes them a lot more money.

A lot more expensive to build to 30k, and then build the scoped expansion as well.
