Sunderland fans abusing Borini's girlfriend on Twitter, saying really vile stuff, and they genuinely don't understand why he might have had enough of the charms of the NE...

Hooper is proven at Champions League level. Also, how has he failed in the PL? He has scored around the same amount as Borini!!

Can anyone possibly explain how we sell Remy for 10.5 and buy Borini FFS for 13 (assuming it is anywhere near)? How does that even work? Is it just me? Help......

Why not just keep Remy in the first place and look after him? Maybe I'm the one with brain fade, it's all too much....... Nurse!

but Remy was sooooo much better than Borini ..... totally different parish...... please someone tell me we are not about spend 13 million quid on Fabio Borini. Poor call, poor ratio, nowhere near as sharp as the french boy. Third rate at best.

OK so Remy wanted out but two wrongs don't make a right.

Smacks of desperation, almost Hughes like supermarket dash.....

That's a foolproof plan, apart from one slight flaw.....Remy didn't want to stay. Yes Borini is expensive, but we are a little desperate at this point.

I tend to agree, it does seem like allot of money.
Had to lose Remy as he got his champions league move but we was never going to get the money that remy was worth.

It does feel like a come down but the lad is only 23 so he could still improve with 1st team football
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I'd have made him stay, I'd have bought him loads of ho0kers and *** workers and got Fer and (thin and fit again) Adel to lay on lovely goal scoring opportunities, I'd have paid him in gold and we would all have lived happily ever after.

I'd have done ANYTHING to avoid paying 13m for Fabio Borini (ffs).
