We must keep Matt and Nedum, Rio or Steven won't be available at various stages of the season, due to form, injury, etc.

I agree.

Phillips and Onuoha should be kept as they will be needed at various times this season. Onuoha as cover for Isla and at CB and Phillips either on the RW or as a 2nd striker. Also they are both relatively young and should be viewed as part of a long term project.
