What a game he had, I don't think we will miss Simpson if he plays like that every week. He read the play really well, dominated the flank and won the ball almost every time. We have a really special player in him and I hope we follow through with our buy out clause soon.
"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

Hope he settles into that position.

We bought him as a specialist player for the 3-5-2 formation, and everything I heard from people who knew his game was that he would be a great wingback, but wasn't good enough defensively as a full-back.

Got forward well today, but neither him or Clint got put under much pressure today (due in part to how well Fer, Mutch and Barton played).

Like the look of him a lot though.

He was awful against Spurs, so hopefully that was a one off.

He had a great game today but he don't like heading the ball

I fort he gave a stone wall penalty away but we got away with it happy days I like him he will grow in confidence and with Vargas can be a pair off great asset to the team. Still buzzing from the game

Yep was 100% pen for me but the ref never gave a similar foul to us for Mutch so he had no choice.

Must say I thought the Ref was very poor Cattermole should have gone for taking Fer out second half but ref bottled it and waved play on. There were odd decisions littered throughout the game against both sides that would have annoyed both sets of fans
