Deschamps has his own priorities and of course it would make more sense to have his players playing at the highest level.

Because he'll get about three touches per game, if Sunday is anything to go by. Banging them in every other week for Marseille is far better preparation, from the French manager's point of view. And he'll also get far better, more modern coaching and tactics at most other clubs.
