  • Faurlin

The guy made a few stray passes last night, however, he put himself everywhere and was always looking for the ball. Many great tackles also. Think he will prove to be agreat addition to our team.

Heaton was spectaculor also. Very safe hands and a great catcher or a cross.

Thought Faurlin looked a lot more assured last night.
Perhaps he needs to be playing at a higher level against better players.
I know some felt the same about Parejo.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

said this on a earlier thread..thought he played well..people need to understand sometimes our players will give the ball away, if they didnt they would be playing for man united or barcelona.

Good bit of scouting, on whoever brought him in.

Knows how to pick a pass, probably better suited to the premiership.

come on pete, he cant even get in our first team unless other players are out. we are a mid table championship team but you think he should be playing in the prem?

Just the style of Play, bit like Parejo but much better.

Your right, Watson and Rowlands for me, but good to have on the bench.

Watson & Rowlands every time for me, Faurlin is a good footballer and played his best game for us so far but he lacks pace in that central midfield area which is key for The Championship.

definately watson and rowlands. Not sure rowlands has as much quality as some make out to be, however hes a good all round player, and gives his heart to the side, which is what we have lacked. Watson should walk into this side. Hes a class player, proven at this level, and really makes a massive difference. We should be doing everything we can to sign him permanently

Faurlin needs time but in trurth I'd take Ben Watson any day of the week.

As for Heaton I thought he looked like a flapper against Accrington Stanley but had a very good game against Chelsea.

Don't think he was rated too highly by Cardiff fans and they have seen a lot more of him whilst he was on loan there.

Both players look promising and should be given time and a chance to settle.

Do they make us a stronger squad?

                    Without a doubt IMO

we wont see Faurlin at his best this season, will take time to adjust especially to the championship but a great player to have on the bench none the less. If/when we get promoted to the Prem he will be one of the players who will be able to cope IMO.

Every time he's played he's been useless. Slow, can't tackle, pass or shoot. Honestly prefer Mahon there and that is really saying something.
