Yea I agree with a good few points there definitely.
Ned was here the last time we did this, and I think that's why he is digging out everyone, we have the squad to finish in a boring mid table position, we need to go back to basics and easy these guys in, then we will be fine.

A few said he needs to get fit and the response was how can he get fit if he doesn't play.

I personally think that the new players should be eased into the team, but on the other hand, you can't see how these players are going to fit in if they don't play. They could come on as subs and look good, but then when they play for the whole game, they look awful.
This is true but the key to the NEW Rangers was this team spirit, band of brothers thing, you try to preserve that and slowly ease them out, evolution as supposed to revolution.

I know these guys are professionals, but I wonder how daunting it is to move into a new club with guys you really don't know and then have to learn a formation that your not familiar. Like moving from a 442 to a 352.

I think we might be running at full potential by November, or complete sh it like a Hughes era 2.0.

Maybe building a strong core in the Championship and moving up is the way to go.

Either way, still a proud Hoops fan!

I agree, if we have players who are fit, why put in someone who is not and never played for us before?

Build on the fire from the previous season, if you are in the team and you look at the bench and see, Fer, Mutch, Isla, Vargas and hopefully McCarthy you step to the plate or step off.

The playoff win spirit should buy you a few games tab the start of the season, one that wears off you start to add the new players then that gives you a second boost.

I think we will be ok but because of yesterday I have to take the stick from the 5th placers

From my viewpoint we should have been easing these new players in and building on the spirit built up last season, we made the SAME mistake three years ago!
Dream on if we played the promotion squad Spurs would still have murdered us they have well over 1oom worth of talent and a class act ,all we can do is work them double hard on training to get the new boys fit and get a full understanding flowing which will take time imo you wont see much benefit until after the international break

A few games watching brief, would give them time to see the system in action and with the foreign players, time to settle in a new country, we did the same thing with Mbia, Granero, Samba and the list goes on.

It appears we have learnt nothing over the last few years, and that's unforgivable!

I hope this makes more sense to you Jimmy Rabbit.
And Spurs would have still tanked us ! and as you know the Muppets would still be whining and mlngebagging Harry out

Words mean nothing. Action is what counts. If they don't get their act together the rot could settle in quickly. You have got to put in effort.
