We need a playmaker asap, sorry to bring this up but if a 'certain somebody' rotting in our reserves is sold then we need to buy a similar player otherwise we won't be scoring many goals any time soon. Holtby maybe? As I said we're desperately lacking creativity and that killer pass. Mutch can't do it as he plays deeper, vargas probably can't do it because from what I've seen of him he's more a striker than anything.
Have faith in SWP. Stupid Harry did not start him

tbh Harry's biggest mistake was play two unfit players: Isla and Fer. He should have started Faurlin instead of Fer and Simpson instead of Isla to close down our defence. It would have also been better to start Hoilett instead of Mutch. I know Hoilett cannot give 90 minutes, but he played all the friendlies and performed well in them. He could have had better impact than Mutch whom I am disappointed with him so far.

For us that would mean around 29k."

Personally think a ball winner in the middle of the park is more of a priority then a play maker as in the first two games we have created chances just not taken them

Spot on west nothing to do with creativity but all about pressure on the ball. Same as last year we sit too deep giving the opposition too much time to not only keep possession but move us around. There 40 odd pass goal being the classic example. To be honest not sure we are fit enough or that certain players are as good as many on here think, Phillips, Barton, Green , Traore and Dunne being examples.

All summer we've had people going on about the need for 'a number ten role', someone to play 'in the hole', but yesterday's result showed that it's a luxury we can ill afford. We need ugly bruisers to survive in this division.

How is it possible to allow a team to string together a 48 pass goal without someone winning the ball back? We simply don't have the players to play a beautiful game.

We should be packing our midfield with players who have the ability (or should that be 'quality' in modern speak) to break up play and counter attack.

Just because we're in the prem doesn't mean we have to try and play like a top 6 team. It also doesn't mean we have to adopt fancy wingback tactics either. Our situation calls for good old-fashioned blood and guts football. Harry should be designing a team that is difficult to break down and can play counter-attacking football.

We need to go back to the strategy that made it difficult to beat us last season and that's 4-5-1 IMO. If we're chasing a game that system converts easily to 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, or 4-4-1-1. We need four at the back, not three, and 4-5-1 gives us three central midfield players and wingers and full backs protecting the flanks. We'll see boring football yes, but we won't get played off the pitch.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Unbelievable comments on here after one bad loss. We might well get spanked a few times by the good teams. Doesn't mean we will go down or need to sack the manager.

Think it's time for Ale Faurlin to be given a run of games, wasn't sure about him being in the side with the new signings, but he broke up play and retained possession a hell of a lot better than Fer and Mutch did yesterday.

I think young Micheal Petrasso could do a job there , very neat and tidy on the ball and has that creativity about his game going forward , give him a go there .

Hope diarra does come but we or easy have Faurlin who is one of the best at winning the ball back. His stats in the prem back it up. He should never have been dropped for this match.

Good point mate. IMO any team needs a psycho energiser bunny Cattermole type in the middle and can get a good kicking in midfield without one. Not sure who has that job in the current side.

Same goes for a hold up lone striker like Lamert/Lukaku type who can relieve pressure, retain the ball from wayward passes, and set up teammates - Not sure who has that job in the current squad either.
