Not convinced at all by redknapp & his coaching staff, the game has moved on so much in a short space of time & they haven't moved with it at all. So tactically inept & seems to favour certain players even when they are not up to it. Hopefully we will fluke it & stay up but can't see there being much improvement while things as they are stay the same. Would like to see some younger blood come into the coaching set up with fresh ideas.
I do believe we have got some good players like Isla,caulker & Vargas,just think they need a clear plan on how we want to play,and get them a lot fitter as pre season was shambolic playing the likes of athlone,shamrock just over a week b4 the big kick off,oppo needs to be a lot tougher closer u get to the season to be ready.

Have said to pals that our destiny will be decided by our results against the teams who will end up down or near the bottom & not the top six. Any points taken from a top six side will be a bonus imho. Hopefully the performances will improve when the new players bed in & get to know each others game. What worried me today was the lack of fight, inability to make a simple pass & the slowness of what little attacking opportunities we created. Need a much better performance v Sunderland next week & as someone else posted the international break will give GH & the squad time to work on the new formation. Anyway onwards & upwards & lets get behind the lads on Saturday.

I really thought we were starting to put a squad together but after that utter dross I fear that it's gonna be a long hard season that won't see Harry as our manager by the end of it.....

That was humiliating sitting there watching that tripe and having all those Spuds fans gloating and gurning in our direction.....

Ferdinand and Dunne should never play alongside each other again and how the heck we gave them so much room and time to pass the ball at will I'll never know....

As usual our tradition of turning good and very good players into bang average ones continues as I thought Remy looked terrible and Mutch would struggle to get into the Gills team on that showing....

I know it's only two games in but we look a million miles away from a PL team so brace yourselves for a long and undistinguished season and if we stay up then I will be doing cartwheels as that has to be our only focus rather than anything silly and distracting like a cup run....

I've spent the past year on here fighting off the happy-clappy types who think anyone criticising the manager's decisions is some sort of undercover Fulham agent.

And then the minute we get hammered - a result of the exact issues I was even banging on about when we were at the top of the CHampionship - I'm apparently being knee-jerk.
