Hard to disagree with that Stan!

I thought Spurs were pony they looked good because we never laid a glove on them, showed zero intent of attacking with purpose and kept giving them the ball. How often did they give us the ball just for us to give it straight back and how many breaks did they totally screw up. A proper side will put them to bed in the first 30mins

Unless the mf close down without the ball, which is basics as far as i'm concerned, we will get done by these better teams.
I thought Mutch and Fer were brought in to give us this energy in the middle.
Once we have mastered this....on to passing to a team mate

He has got a clue he was outstanding in some of our game last season, but no he can't cut it in the prem passed his best I'm afraid very good pro in his day.

Just back from me bar watching it on the big screen.....we were embarrassing. Not one player knew what they were doing...gonna write this game off as a learning curve.
Lets hope they have learnt something big time.
We can only get better from here now.
                Chin up lads.

You're right but 5 in m/f 2 in their 1s game 1 in his 2nd it's little wonder there was no understanding of who should do what I'm sure they will work better as a unit the sooner they put some hours in

                    Tottenham ratings
•Lloris 6 - Largely a spectator as QPR missed any chances they had.
•Dier 8 - Superb. Must be giving Roy Hodgson something to think about.
•Kaboul 7 - His renaissance highlighted by him wearing the armband.
•Vertonghen 7 - Strong, powerful and enjoyed driving forward from defence.
•Rose 7 - Set up Tottenham’s fourth with brilliant run and cross.
•Capoue 8 - Had an excellent game as he always kept things ticking over.
•Bentaleb 7 - Strong partnership in midfield alongside Capoue.
•Eriksen 7 - Crashed a wonderful free kick against the crossbar.
•Chadli 8 - Lovely finish for both of his goals. Standing ovation. MOTM
•Lamela 8 - Wonderful run and cross to set up Chadli’s second goal.
•Adebayor 7 - Wonderful finish for Tottenham’s fourth goal. Lively and dangerous.
                    •Subs: Dembele 6, Kane 6, Soldado 6

                    QPR ratings
•Green 5 - Was left horribly exposed by QPR’s woeful defending.
•Isla 4 - Does his loan deal from Juventus include a return clause?
•Caulker 5 - Looked lost in QPR’s defence. Spurs ran rings around QPR.
•Dunne 3 - Got horribly exposed and was subbed at half time. Awful.
•Ferdinand 4 - Probably wishes he had retired when QPR play like this.
•Traore 4 - Better going forward but rarely got chance to do that.
•Barton 6 - Strong in the tackle, worked hard and at least tried.
•Fer 4 - Booked. Lost his man Dier on Tottenham’s second goal.
•Mutch 4 - Struggled to get into the game to make an impact.
•Phillips 4 - Wasted a great chance when he lifted the ball over the bar.
•Remy 4 - Will surely try to get out before the window shuts.
                    •Subs: Onuoha 5, Faurlin 5, Zamora 5

Barton kept losing the god damned ball. How is he a 6?

And a 5 for Faurlin? - He was the only one that looked like a premier league player.

been saying for ages i expected the start to the season will be $shite and to judge it in sept/oct once all the players have arrived and dust has settled.
first 2 games underlines how the squad still needs strengthening -bit of a reality check for some - I hope Harry gets his targets next week

Fine line though ain't it? We were all saying the same 2 years back under Hughes!

                            Just got back from Spurs.
                            Awful, just awful.
It was always going to be a tough game, but let's put this into perspective.
We went and lost, without a whimper, 4-0 to Spurs, who, let's be honest, haven't a cat in hell's chance of winning the premiership, much like ourselves.
Not one single player of ours was on their game, with the exception of Rob Green perhaps.
And this debacle comes hot on the heels of a 1-0 defeat at home to Hull the other week.
And what on earth was Harry Redknapp doing, waving to the Spurs fans when we were 4-0 down, and even a lousy consolation goal seemingly beyond our reach?
                            A lousy, awful, embarrassing day.
Three points against Sunderland at Loftus Rd next Saturday is a MUST, an absolute MUST, a point alone will be very disappointing.

6 signings and nearly £25m spent so far.

Terrifying that we still think we need more and more signings. What do they say about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?

A win would be important Bush but as a minimum we need to come away unbeaten and get a point on the board
