Let's get this straight, Malky is a ****ing idiot for the statements and as a public figure should have known to watch his mouth. It's not like he was at his mates house, he sent these on work computers and as a public figure should've known better.

However the BIG problem and the reason Tan has exposed him is that Malky & Moody overspent. They supposedly 'spent' 50M but only 30M or so actually went on players. Where did the extra 20M go? I have to disagree with you. I believe that the words alone are not racist. I use some of them myself in relation to friends of various ethnicity and they in turn use various derogatory remarks in relation to me. It is the manner and context of their use that would make them offensive or racist. Mackay is stupid and Tan is a nasty pr*ck. Sorry if this offends anyone that is stupid or a pr*ck.

Ask any of your Far Eastern, South Asian and Jewish mates to understand what it's like being called that. It has NO COMPARISON to the shortened word of British to Brit.

I have Turkish and Kurdish mates who also despise the shortened Turk or Kurd terminology as it has connotations of hatred.

If by education you mean being told by some left wing wally what words are now no longer acceptable to other similiar left wing wally's i think i'll stay as i am thanks. So now the words "Turk" and "Kurd" are off limits? I think what we need is some kind of left wing dictionary that can run alongside the Oxford dictionary and maybe everyone should wear some kind of badge to denote their Turkish/Kurdish/Pakistani/whatever lineage so mistakes arent made and god forbid someone actually gets offended by a word. Calling the Chinese takeaway a "Chinky" is used by everyone i know and never in my head or otherwise is it used in racist connotations.
