Yep was Di Marzio who said we have the first option to buy next summer, as Tommy said above.

Hope its right. The official report didn't mention it which raises doubt. I would love to think we have an option to retain at the end if he does well for us, and also I feel loans often only really give a damn about our plight if they have a future interest in the club, ie they're staying. A random loan wont care if we go down as they'll just return to their parent club either way.

We also have an option to buy Isla, which the official report didn't mention either! Good business imo as we have a whole season to review if we want to buy them!

Maybe not in the report then, but it's definitely been mentioned in various places about Isla having an £8m option to buy of that I think there's no doubt. Hopefully Vargas is the same as I think they could both potentially be massive hits in the prem. For me it's no surprise Italy didn't suit them as they are used to playing at a very high tempo with the Chile team and Italy isn't like that at all. The prem on the other hand.....

You summed that up perfectly, regarding the tempo.
I'm pretty sure there is an £7m or 8m buy out clause for Vargas too, Di Marzio was the one who released the clause about Isla too so it should be true.

he will be cleared for sunderland deffo. You run back into the ring and picked that towel up and told the ref you just dropped it by accident then or what?

Look at the rest of the thread, couple people realised I was on a wind up to see if we got any doom and gloomers to join me. To be fair everyone was positive which is good. I even said at end I was on a wind up
