  • Allegedly no Injuries from Last Night

.. was limping quite badly on the pitch after the game, right leg.
Hopefully just a dead leg, or bad cramp... but it didn't look good from my seat in the very front row of the lower tier.

So before anyone moans about him being subbed, that'll be why.

Rowlands has been injured for most of this year, so it was obvious why he was taken off too. Looked knackered after about an hour... not surprisingly.
Still didn't stop a few plums near me from abusing Magilton for the changes, but they were forced on him, rather than choice.

Even if I wanted to, I couldn't fault a single one of those players tonight, or the manager. Proud of them.
JM picked a good side, with a good shape, and made the subs he had to - when he had to.

Nice to see Amit Bhatia on the pitch after the game too, clapping the fans and looking happy and proud to be there.

If there is such a thing as losing to Chelsea, but having a decent night - that was it.

Shame if he is injured, hes looking a good signing to be fair.

    Hopefully its just cramp.

If that lad was a real clinical finisher, he'd be an unbelievably good striker.

Great touch, good vision and his off the ball movement is very impressive.

I also thought Vine looked more like the player we all remember previous to his injury. Those two seem to link up very well together, however for me it's not the ideal partnership. We really need a finisher.
        Your mum would love me...

Spot on with all of that Bennyboys. They look really silky and tidy together, which is nice, but what you want is two strikers who will scare the living daylights out of the two opposing centre halves. These two don't. My worry is we are too dependent on Buz or Routledge scoring with a long range wonder strike - no doubt they will get their share this season, but not enough to win promotion.

So why play him then. The match aganst Barnsley is far far more impotant:grimace::red_heart::red_heart::red_heart: :red_heart::confused:

              ??
He was limping after the game, not before.
100% sure, I was stood about 6 yards from him.

Hopefully just a knock, or something minor.... but it probably explains why he was taken off.

I was more thinking of that he is so important to us that he shouldnt have played him.

You know our luck speaking of injuries. It was bound to happen:electric_shock::red_heart::red_heart:

Not the day for it, but Benny you sound likea broken record

" we need a clinical finisher", he scored two against Cardiff and run the line really well against Chelsea, where chances were at a minimum. Give the kid a break and not even a Chopra scores in ever game.

Simpson wil score plenty for us, if he stays fit.

Oh dear Pete, you really have no idea what a clinical finisher is, do you?

Again, I'm glad you're happy with our striker options, but you're very much in the minority. You were proven wrong when you said you were happy with the last lot, and you'll be proven wrong again.

He scores two agaist Cardiff and all of a sudden he's the answer?

You do make me smile Pete....A lot!!!!
