Interested to learn views of oothers there last night. I thought he was woeful and gave the ball away almost everytime he had it. Spoke to some saying he was the best player on the pitch!!

No way was he woeful and he made more successful passes than incomplete ones. I thought he played well and made some great passes. My gripe with him was that on a few occassions, he tried to be to clever/c0ckey with his flicks and passes and was lucky to get away with a few of them.
He's young and learning and still adapting to the English game, but I'm pleased with him so far. I hope he learns from his mistakes and goes on the craft his game a bit more.Your mum would love me...

Still think the boy needs time to adapt to this league. If we can sign Watson on a perm in Jan, I think working alongside him, Rowly & to an extent Legs, by the time Rowly is ready to go(he is the wrong side of 30 & can't go on forever) Faurlin will be ready to step in & we'll have 2 fantastic centre mids who are 26/27 years old. Promising start though.

For the first time, I can say that I was highly impressed. I tjhink he will be a quality player for us.
Everyone gives the ball away sometimes, and it isn't always your own fault (depends on others showing up for it) and I felt he passed well. Positionally I rate him, and he has pace. Before yesterday I thought he was a dubious signing. Now I am happier.
