Me too... I said this right after the game, Spurs didn't look that great.

So does the middle CB need to be both left n right footed ?

The CB don't matter... left, right or both.

Highly recommend every watches this, really interesting discussion.

Especially whoever it was above with the knee-jerk Carragher hate for his entirely valid comments about Dunne not really being suitable for playing on the left side of a back three as he has no left foot, isn't comfortable at left back and isn't mobile enough.

sadly this vid doesn't seem to be the whole segment. hopefully there's a longer version with the QPR stuff, Ajax 1995, Juve 2012 with Isla... all sorts.

We were alright defensively, but this was Hull at home.

We definitely need more pace (Ned), and CBs who are more comfortable on the ball. Dunne resorted to hoofing it a few times, but I thought Rio did really well with his distribution yesterday, looked calm with the ball at his feet.

Having a CB who can initiate attacks and pick the right man to pass to is important, especially in 352 where they'll see more of the ball. I don't think Dunne is cut out for it, especially against the big sides.

Our CB's were all comfortable in posession and probably saw more of the ball than anyone. AS for Onouha, he has pace yes, but he is anything but good when it comes to distributing the ball and actually looks quite panicked and rushed if on the ball and closed down.
