  • Let's talk about Ferdinand

He did look superb out there and some of those tackles were great, reading the ball.

Back three were great. Each of them individually and collectively. Goal was one of those damn things.

      He was brilliant.

Defence looks tight. Few tweaks & we'll be good. My only worry is the midfield. Over run very easily.

Agree with you on that and hope Caulker can learn a few things off him, I was impressed.

Good performances from Calker and Rio. Dunne did ok. I would have the Chief in front of Dunne as he is quicker and more agile.

Rio is class, he was a cut above any defender we have had for a few years, Caulker looked great as well
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

What really shone was the amount of times he kept possession of the ball and passed it to a team mate with his head when others would have just put head through it

Was his man that scored however and he looked so annoyed with himself but better getting teething problems out the way early

I thought Rio did a good job today. Needs to sort out his boots though. Pink??
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Rio should be captain , years more prem experience and of winning. Joey is a great man but not good enough to be captain as well imo. Best defender ive seen play for us in decades, since back to the near miss glory days of mclintock and venables etc.

Rio is still top class and already we look more organised and better defensively. First game together, so things will get better but encouraging imo

Rio was good today so calm on the ball it's a pity dunne ain't got no speed he is just a brick wall with legs 1 hull player just bounced of him I can't believe he started I just read fer could be having a medical on Monday Which will sort out the midfield and with Isla playing aswell we look a solid team

Rio, proved he is worthy of playing for Queens Park Rangers.

Different class. Read everything. Blamed for the goal although i didnt see replay. He later tweeted that it was his man that scored. Can only get better as the season progresses. Fantastic signing.

Very impressed. And at the same time disappointed that MOTD decided to highlight his error and take the mick rather than mention the rest of the game where he was very very good. Cheers for that Shearer. Knob.
