like robbo said, you're confusing people's opinions of him as a person and their opinions of him in respect of his ability to the job he is asked to do. i have met gianni - nice guy, but as a sporting director he's not fit for purpose. he really has no place at QPR imo

I could name 10 people that despise the guy. (which is 2%)
You could add maybe at an estimate 30% who question his role of bringing in players (tends to come after we lose). They don't dislike the fella, but they perceive what each person does at the club, and think he brings in players without Magilton talking to him first.
Think thats fair.
As for yesterday, I was not on top of it like Bigshark, but they were both being cheered and applauded.
Shame this thread has descended into a character assisanation yet again. It was simply both guys got applauded. Thats all it is, Paladinooo no need to get defensive.

Nice guy, but if Gianni Paladini was walking across the pitch with say, the kit man after the game... would the clapping be so enthusiastic as if Amit Bhattia was doing the same??
I think most people (I'm guessing 79.4%) would know the answer to that.
Or in percentage terms - quite a lot.
But I'm not a mind reader. Unlike a few on here.
But far more importantly..... who really gives a s**t??

Some old same old.
The Spin Doctors see an opportunity to 'big up' Paladini and take it with both hands - **YAWN**
Maybe a nice guy, but not qualified in any way to do the job he does. Has also shown an alarming tendency to shoot his mouth off although, to be fair, he's kept a lower profile on that front since the take over.

I'll tell you what..
Lets just leave it.
Someone comes on and says they both got applauded. I know for some thats hard to accept, but thats what was witnessed. The fact is they walked in the ground together, which suggests they get on well.
Lets just leave it, surprised that you have to come out and be defensive, no one is suggesting he was carried into the ground by supporters. Just applauded and spoke to fans for around 10 minutes and that has to be positive.
No point arguing about it.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

. Most of us are just letting the post go, on how it was intended. A positive thread which shows both got applauded.
I don't know what hurts more for you, that Gianni got applauded or that he went to the game with Amit.
you are making yourself come across a little obsessive.
I didn't even start the thread !! Seems that reading other boards it is true. just let it go.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.
