  • Changes for saturday?

    following our performance yesterday..

i didnt get to go but i wish to take account of peoples opinion who did.

its clear that heaton played a blinder and that our midfield was excellent along with the vocal support.

obvious change for saturday would be our support for the team... not questioning this.

but do people feel heaton should start saturday? - i say this because cerny against peterborough was abit shaky - nothing terrible but in the eyes of whos more in form people could say its heaton?

and who fills the other spots ?

does taarabt start? if connolly is fit? faurlin watson and rowly?!
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

We need Watson back, and although Faulin was pretty decent think he should be the one to make way.
Agree Heaton was good but dropping your own keeper for a loan keeper sends a v negative message to Cerny, who in any case has done v little wrong this season.
Tarabt and Vine must be in close competition for a place.
Stewart did well but wd still feel much more comfortable with Connolly if fit.

For me, it would be very harsh to drop Cerny, and play Heaton, but Cerny is under much more pressure now to stay consistent... and that's how it should be.

Watson has to play, and the way him and Rowlands played at Cardiff, you have to stick with that. Faurlin is very good back up... but it's important that we start to build partnerships on the pitch, and not change every week just to accomodate players.

Buzsaky is getting back to his best, so definitely keep him in... I like him on the left more than the right. He can cut in more, and doesn't play very wide anyway.

Vine or Tarrabt is debatable, but after the Cardiff win, it would be better to send a message to the players that a performance/win like that means you keep your place.
We need to settle into a cohesive team, and although it's great to have options like Heaton, Taraabt and Faurlin... I'd go same again (as cardiff) on saturday.

Unless Connelly is fit. He should start every game when 100%.

IMO Cerny should keep his place, i kinda expected heaton might get a shot last night seeing as he played against accrington, the carling cup was clearly his best chance of starting games for us...

Id be interested to know how connolly is getting on, but i fear saturday will come too soon for him, in which case i would keep the same back four as last night. If Connollly was fit i would be tempted to put him in at LB in place of Borrowdale.

In midfield Faurlin go's back out and Watson comes back in at CM.

        Front 2 stays the same.
