With his ability, and the way he is, he's hardly going to say he wants to stay at QPR is he. Has the potential to play for much better sides and he knows it. It's clear he does like it here but he wants to aim higher nothing wrong with that. Said before though it's down to him, only way he's going to go to any of those teams is if he knuckles down and takes his chance. Shop window won't mean he'll just showboat...he'll be trying to win us games..show he's a team player...otherwise no one will take him. As long as he does the business for us until he goes that's all that matters.
The fatso has to get fit first and reading through the lines he has no intention to do that while he stays with us..l
^^Adel lit up the Championship like no player has done in YEARS. Teams don't want him because he's on 50k a week, which is unrealistic for 95% of teams in Spain/Italy/Germany/France.
It's been said a million times but he was one of the best performers in a very poor QPR side, then loaned out for financial reasons and frozen out by Redknapp. Now he's ignored so that we can carry Kranjcar, which is a ####ing joke. Anyone who doesn't think Adel warrants at least a chance in this side is absolutely clueless.
Tbh the way Adel has been treated since Arry came in has been disgraceful, and I don't blame him for wanting out. He'll move on and do well, while we'll still be wondering why good players won't come here unless we pay crazy wages. Why would they, when you look at our recent track record? Who has advanced as a footballer here in recent years?
And from the replies in this thread it's seems some fans want to vilify or idolise players more than they want to watch us play good football..

Could you elaborate on that, because IMO it is the way Adel has conducted himself that has been a disgrace. Since you compared him with Niko before, then take a look at how they came back after their summer break. Adel fatter than ever, and Niko fitter than he has ever been while at this club.
That said, I love to watch Adel at his best, and even watched Milan streams last season, just to see some magic (which he actually produced on a couple of occasions), and I really hope he gets fit to play and produces performances like we all know he is capable of, even if it is only to secure his big club move, but if it doesn´t happen then the only man Adel can blame for his predicament is himself...
They are all greedy. Barton admitted that he only came here for the money.
That said Adel needs to cut out the arrogant statements and get himself fit. He can only hint he is off to a big European club so many times before he makes himself sound desperate and insecure. He frustrates the hell out of me, all the more because I was such a fan. But the likes of Philips will only be in a Championship or relegation threatened Premier League club and wd never have torn even League One apart the way Adel did the Championship. We need a spark. It might be Nico, it might be Vargas, it might be Fer - it might even be Adel. If you were opposition manager who would you most fear? If you were a QPR fan and you saw Adel come on, would you think he wd turn the game more or wd you be more encouraged by Jordan Mutch? Different opinions but it needs to be someone.

Teams don't want him because he has attitude problems and whilst he looked the part in the Championship just has not built on that. His wages are not unrealistic for teams in the Premiership which you seemed to skip over and not a single of the 19 other teams in the division seem interested in signing him, not even on the cheap. That speaks volumes.
He was useless at Foolham and looked ok in a poorer Italian league. If he wasn't a QPR player is he someone we would be looking to sign? I suspect the answer is no. Need to stop living in the increasingly distant past son.
Is this the saddest QPR-story ever? Bar the tragic lossses of Kian Prince and Ray Jones, the story of AT can only compete With the way the club sold the great Paul Goddard.

Wrong Teams don't want him because he's an overwieght egotistical selfish unproffesional, who can't even be bothered to get himself fit?

Arry has been publicly touting him as long as he's been here, has publicly questioned his attitude and commitment etc., which doesn't benefit ANYONE except his media mates. It's not gonna help Adel find a club or help us find a buyer. As soon as Arry came in it was obvious he was going to freeze Adel out, and sure enough he's done the same again. He could have come back fitter than anyone and Arry would have still omitted him from the side… Can Arry not help Adel get fit? Does he not oversee the coaches? do people still believe anything that comes out of this ########ter's mouth?
Arry has shown that he plays his mates, regardless or form or fitness. An unfit Adel is still more capable than a 'fit' Niko who still gets dispossessed all the time. We are a side with no creative spark, we've got a brilliant #10 rotting in the reserves and Redknapp is too proud/blind to do anything about it. The Adel saga epitomises the problems at this club...

I won't rant on forever, but we asked for a 7M fee + he is 2.5M in wages. That's hardly 'on the cheap'. Excluding the top 6, there are maybe 5 or 6 teams in this league that can afford that. Managers don't last long here, so spending 10M+ on a player is a big decision for them and most probably feel Adel is too much of a risk (and lets face it, Taarabt isn't moving to Sunderland, Hull, West Brom etc.). AND let's not forget that English managers/clubs go for safety first and usually end up playing anti-football, meaning #10s and flair players like Taarabt, Mata and Kagawa end up stuck on the wing and getting criticised for 'not working hard enough', or overlooked in favour of your Townsends/Milners.

Exactly! I don't buy this 'no one wants him because he's to expensive', just a poor poor excuse IMO. This is the modern game, money's not an issue if your'e getting a young, talented footballer who's ready to set the world a light.
